To MHS85....are you kidding with your post? What kind of person are you to put that trash on an open forum such as this one? Have the families and girls of Miamisburg World Guard not had a trying enough season without having the false (and yes they are FALSE) accusations thrown out for them to read? I suggest that if you have any love and respect for children and the color guard program, you will respect the families and color guard of Miamisburg and remove your post. I had the honor of seeing them perform yesterday and today and I have to say they are as strong as they ever were. It always amazes me to see the love the parents have for the organization and how they stand by their kids. They act like a huge family. So...KUDOS to the Burg girls and personally they should feel proud to have walked the tunnel and take the floor with their heads held high. GOOD FOR YOU!

WOW.....did anyone else attend the MEPA Pre-Lims today? Personally I was very impressed with the talent in all groups today. Franklin High Schools A guard has really stepped up their game and what a great show they are giving the fans this year! Juxtaposition show while enjoyable doesn't seem to have the same momentum and thrill they have shown us in the past. Question is.....how will they bring it all together for WGI Championships next week? Could be interesting to see. Nice to see Miamisburg representing again this year in all age groups. The talent in the Burg starts at such a young age. I find it amazing that little kids can spin flags and weapons with such grace. Timing was perfect for their Sweethearts group and they truly never miss a beat. The Junior's program while soft and a little slower paced from previous years proved to be solid with a nice flag feature to seal the deal! And what about the Miamisburg World Guard? Did anyone catch their show today? Certainly not the same show seen a few weeks ago. Something has changed but I can't put my finger on it. The girls are performing like in years past and their talent proves once again that the Burg is taking back what is theirs! It appeared there have been many changes in their show with a unique spin on MORSE CODE playing in the background while the rifles are spinning to the silence. There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the World Guard this year with a new Director taking the helm. If this momentum continues I can see them making it to WGI finals and personally they deserve it! Whatever happened to bring these changes to the floor, I suspect those girls will walk the tunnel again this year at UD all 3 days for the Championships next week.

Having enjoyed past season's of Miamisburg's World Guard programs, this season seems to be lacking the details and familiarness that we have seen in the past. It appears that Burg guard this year is primarily composed of younger girls but the abilities they have seem to be spot on. Many programs have been disappointing this so far this season but I assume they all have something up their sleeve to pull them out of the slump they are in. Any program is only as good as the coaches and directors they have. My only suggestion to any of these struggling guards this year is to keep your heads up push on. Time is of the essence so take back what is yours. Anyone can have a crappy show....but can out perform the show. Time will tell.
