Looking forward to seeing how The Academy does tomorrow. Just saw a video of their performance last night in Page, AZ. They are sounding pretty good!

I think one of the big goals the Blue Devils have, as anyone else would, is for their listeners to have a strong emotional reaction to their music. By reacting the way a lot of folks have on here, for better or for worse they have accomplished what I think they set out to. For that, I have no issue with them winning tonight.

Liked all shows tonight! PC had a very nice controlled and refined sound. In my opinion they sound much improved as opposed to last year's SWCC. Contrary to what I've seen on here, I feel that the Academy's brass is a bit stronger than they were last year. At least it sounded that way from where I was sitting. Their loud moments were very powerful and didn't seem overly forced. Blue Knights really blew me away. Didn't take but a few seconds into their show to know they were on an entirely different level than the former performances. Great sound, blend, balance and intonation- I would not be surprised to see them end up with a score in the 90's come August. Crown was as expected. They have a really, really solid product this year. Just a few initial thoughts after coming home. Visual analysis is not my forte. Sorry I couldn't give more info in that regard. Again, all shows were very well done. All performers involved should feel proud of themselves. Goodnight!

Really excited to go to the show tomorrow! Hoping all groups do well. Haven't heard much about Academy's show this year. Has anyone had a chance to catch a run-through of their show?

I'd like to see SCV in the top three this year! Absolutely loved their show in 2012. Would also like to see my hometown corps, the Academy, make it in the top 12 next summer! Speaking of the Academy, does anybody have news regarding the turnout at their recent audition camp? I've heard nothing. Good luck to all corps in 2013!

Has a corps played this piece in a show? I didn't find anything on corpsreps about anybody playing it. It sounds like something that would translate well to Drum Corps.
