Did you forget your souvie purchase at Finals?
MalletMom replied to MalletMom's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Reunited and it feels so good! The interwebs is magical I tell ya! Thanks folks. -
A gentleman on my row left some merchandise he purchased when he hurried out after Finals night. As soon as we realized we tried to run after him and locate him, to no avail. I would love to be able to find the owner. I already contacted the corps who the items were purchased from and am awaiting a response, but this young man seemed as though he was definitely in the know on drum corps stuff so I thought he might come here too. So if you left something behind please contact me and tell me the items you purchased, from which corps and your seat location to verify it's yours. I know I would be so disappointed if this happened to me since we all know souvie's are NOT cheap!

Drums Along the Rockies 2014

Was Academy's front ensemble feature visible on fan network? I was in love! Of course I am a pit mom so I am biased. I am in heaven this year. -
Did anybody see Dan Potter do his little drum major dance? CUTE!

Goody gravy the feed sure went to pot quick.

OH NOES. Couldn't hear the singer on the feed. She looked like she was killing it too!

pretty dark subject matter, but that's not too far off of BK. Another show that will have to grow on me. Some really great moments though. -

Excellent finish Mandarins! I really loved the last two years of programs. We will have to see if this one grows on me. -

PC's show was fun. That's going to be a great one to watch develop over the season. And since they patched Brandt in, they must be reading this thread and making all my dreams come true. So, DCI, can I get some free finals tickets too? -

Just turned it on. Is that Brandt Crocker announcing? I sure wish the announcer could be patched into the broadcast so I could understand him. -
Fan Network 2014-2015?
MalletMom replied to Old Corps Guy's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Do I have this correct? Innovations in Brass from Akron, OH happens on 6/21. It's the show that will be viewable in theaters on 6/23. It's listed as VOD on Fan Network. I am assuming subscribers will be able to see it later in the week then? -
We prefer the face-melting 140 section so we buy SUPER 3 thru DCI. No drill, obviously, but we can check the big screen for what we know is coming since by then we've seen most shows on FanNetwork so have a good idea about what is going on. One of the main reasons we buy so close to the field is the more comfortable seating. The first 14 or so rows are wider and have back and seat cushioning which really helps with our marathon drum corps viewing of Prelims. Also we are of the wider variety, so our seats can use the bigger seats. :tongue:/>

Merchandise is inside LOS on the concourse so you'd need a ticket. Warm ups for brass and battery are in Military park, which DCI says is about a mile from LOS. Front ensemble warm ups are in the lot adjacent to LOS.

I felt bad cutting out on Colts show to see my MadMen. I think Colts show is enjoyable. We had some stick in the muds around us, who didn't cheer or show enjoyment for any show while we were there, at least. In front of us however, was a "cheer-er" who was anticipating every battery impact moment. It was great to see someone enjoying a show so much. I passed out some YNWA cards to those around us and asked them to sing along if they felt so compelled. From what I could see there was a small contingent of singing audience members. I thought Bones was the loudest of the night. I am not a fan of the soft ending, but I am really enjoying the show more than the beginning of the season. Heard in the stands: "The best was that Seattle group." "I can tell this group has too many flags." "This show is dark" about madison. Okay, sorry for any typos. I am on my phone. Headed to bed. Gotta drive to Wichita in the morning.

Indeed I do. Am I that transparent? Lol!
