My sister lives in VA and has gone to last year's and this year's shows only to have them both rained out! Maybe next year... Third times the charm, right? Although last year they at least got to do a standstill.

There was a big group at Corps Encore in Ogden, Utah, July 3rd that did it. They did it perfectly and it was really cool.

Any word this morning? I am hoping my son is still asleep, so I don't want to call just yet. Maybe a future responsibility of host schools should be to have someone trustworthy stay while the corps is at a show. And then the fire alarms! What a very frustrating night!

So, how do you enter which corps and member you are sending this to? Do I leave a note in comments? Just wondering before I complete the order.

Last year's Blue Knights had a girl on snare - she was from Japan, I believe. She was also about a foot shorter than the guys next to her.

I have a question regarding the rankings on dci.org for July 10-16. Why are Blue Devils B and Vanguard Cadets on there, if anyone knows. Are they using the same sheets for Open Class as World Class? I know in the Prelims everyone from Open and World Class perform and using the same sheets, so there is the possibility that Open Class Corps could make finals, but are they starting that already?

I have a FN-type question - do they broadcast through the encore. What I'm really wanting to find out is that if I sign up and go into the archives for last nights Drums, will I get to see my son on the podium do his solo during the encore. Very proud looking at pictures on facebook, but I really want to see it. And oh how I wish Denver wasn't so very far away last night. Thanks!
