  12. Really enjoyed their effort Sars. I was very impressed by the jump from Corning. They worked hard and gave their all Saturday and stayed focused given the circumstances during prelims. IMO the perc. score was off by a stretch and I see other postings along that same topic. When they think number management everything doesn`t have to be 11th! Geez, Anyways I know what the difference is and they do as well. Congrats to Jim Gruber and the BUC`S a true gentleman and friend. Grennies keep the faith and you are still a voting member! To move ahead you have to think ahead so give thought to 2006 . Cheers DLD
  13. Grenadiers...... Holiday Inn Express Pittston Scranton Naval reserve rehearsal area(airport)
  14. Hello from Southeastern Ontario....Best of luck with your venture. Corps in Canada can be trying at times so being open minded is one of the keys. Program will be important for you as there isn`t a threat of players moving south of the border. Just for starters the "all age corps" adopted by DCA opens up a marketing tool to access a broader playing field to increase membership in regards to the never ending job of recruitment. As far as the border we have to plan an hour at the border as part of our travel ritual. First a drum corps.........then worry about the border eh....... Cheers Don Dean
  15. Hey Larry, Nice review......all the corps appreciate thoughful feedback after all it`s one of the rewards as a player. Thanks for the kind words and you know we will be working hard up here in the "great white north" Drop by if you are in Syracuse. Cheers Don

  17. Grenadiers had a very productive week-end in Alexandria Bay NY . Saturday went late and was followed by a parade in Clayton NY. on Sunday. Randy behaved himself as well as could be expected for late night although we did have to break out the under construction sign for Sunday! Not to mention the Air Cast on my left leg I earned as an award for the best " Triple Lindey" by a retired Director! Anyways Endicott should be good and we do have a contra hole.........anyone interested? Cheers DLD
