  1. FOr soldering purpose, You have to choose perfect tool. The temperature the solder and joint have to reach ordinary solder melts at about 250°C, and this temperature must be maintained in the joint all the time it is being made. Commonly taken as a kitchen tool, the brulee torch is usually used primarily for caramelizing sugar; as a result, it is sometimes called creme brulee torch.
  2. Resistance-soldering-equipment used in the process of resistance soldering for fusing metals that makes use of easily softened substance known as solder.Another way to deal with soldering fumes is to use a bench-top fume extractor. These are great, but personally I just use a face respirator, which is effective and low cost.
  3. The tool is used to melt the solder and join the pendant's component which is separated to each other. When choosing the right tool for you then it's worth considering that attempting to solder with a tool that simply doesn't have the power for the task in hand will just result in a waste of time. The Cold Heat Soldering Tool is great for electrical, hobbies, and light PCB work. The sleek ergonomic cordless design is very smart and pleasing, and will look great in any home toolbox.
  4. Paxman horns have been well-known with some expert players since they began making designs by the Richard Merewether. The most typical make in US orchestras, where wide bore horns are the standard, seems to be Conn, but their locations of produce have modified over the last many years or so & the equipment created in Texas are of very diverse excellent, according to some players.
  5. Trumpet & Cornet are usually regarded as similar equipment, as they have identical variety & very similar sound, although the cornet does have a mellower tone compared to the trumpet's brighter sound.
  6. Of course Bach, but maybe its expensive. Yamaha is not too far behind though. If you want to invest cash get something awesome, that will last & be of high quality. Do not get the bach TR300 though.
  7. Well, it seems that it was sold and if you are interested to buy it than you may wait for the next sale.
  8. Generally, silver is a much stronger & longlasting than lacquer. That said, there is excellent and bad in both. I have a hundred of year old cornet with fantastic, at the same time now used, siver.
  9. Well, I know little bit about soldering iron. A soldering iron heats up to two adjacent metal junction melts and flows between them. A base station it is recommended for soldering. Metal Stencils
  10. Well, silver solder may be preffered. Just clean the surface to be soldered. Use a brush to remove abrasive soldering from braces and trumpet. Do not damage the finish if the instrument is plated or lacquered. Also, avoid treatment beyond the old solder, which could cause the metal to be removed from the instrument. Metal Stencils
  11. The key to success of silver soldering is to observe the fundamental principles in the soldering process. You are brazing - seamless with a filler rod expensive. Basically, a welded joint depends on the strength of the filler and base metals. The strength of a brazed joint, if done correctly will be guided only by the force of original materials, whether copper, brass, bronze or steel. They will fail before the joint fails. Metal Stencils
