You’re probably right. Until proven otherwise, there’s no reason not to have BD favored every year. Maybe the top corps could agree on DCI coming up with a handful for show ideas, have BD, Crown, Bluecoats, and BAC pick out of a hat and see what each can do with it as a show for one year. I know, just a silly idea but really, what the heck!

Bluecoats movement is so wonderfully integrated with the show. They are fun to watch and the performers pop on the field in unison. Hard to believe this is the same group that wasn’t able to perform last night. It looks like they’ve got their mojo back tonight!

Sometimes simpler is better. Phantom’s show is a visual playground. That is so fun to watch and incredible to hear. The best designed show of 2023.
