Thanks ! I've known for a while I dont want to do College band, even before I knew about DrumCorps. I've always wanted more than that. I cant really explain what I mean by that, but Im sure you get what I'm saying. hahah

Thanks for all of the input. I wont be starting DCI until fall 2015 so I have plenty of time to fundraise. Im planning on doing bluecoats and after my first summer of bluecoats ill get an appartment in Ohio and go to Ohio State and continue with bluecoats until I age out. I live in Florida so I have to pay for plane tickets to go to camps, or I could drive to the one camp in ATL. Im not really enthused about College Band, Id rather just devote my time to DrumCorps and schooling. I plan on eithing being a marketing/publicity major, or a music major. Id really like to get a job somewhere in the DCI corporation no matter what field of work I do.

How to you balance paying for College and paying for drum Corps at the same time ? I was planning on getting a music scholorship, but I decided to do drum corps instead of marching in college. I have made good grades so far, but I dont know if I can keep up my grades to A level, especially in math. So how to you pay for College (partial scholoship) and Drum Corps ?

How can you manage high school and corps at the same time ? summer tour would start before school is over wouldnt it ? I would LOVE to start DCI now (15) but with school I just cant until 2015. By then when i start going to audition camps (fall 2015) ill be 19, which means ill only be able to march through summer 2018 because ill turn 22 that fall. Please answer my question about doing highschool and DCI, and please correct me if im wrong about only being able to march 3 years because of my age, id love to march as many as i can.

I cant wait to order mine. The only real edit that makes me a little upset is the Cavaliers. But ill live (: I cant wait to get it and force my family to watch it !

I know this is a little late, but for anyone asking the same question nowadays I decided to give an answer (: 19 is definitly not too old, infact the first year ill be able to participate in DCI is when im 19, ill be 18 when I graduate and then 19 when I start camps that fall and march the next summer. One year is better than nothing. (: sadly because my birthday isnt in a summer month I dont get that bonus year, so I can only march 3 years, make the best of it !
