One of the big goals/wants for my career in music education is to make it onto a drum corps staff. I know most staff positions require you having marched drum corps. But unfortunately, circumstances and opportunities happened and I was never able to march in DCI. I would still love to one day work for a corps because love what the activity stands for and, even though I don't have the experience on the field, a deep passion for it. Is there still a chance I could find a staff position on a corps one day? How big of a factor is having that marching experience?

We did something like this in high school. We did a show around the whole Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz conspiracy. As far as Pink Floyd songs, we played Time, Money, Us and Them, and Brain Damage. Would love to see a corps do a DSOM show!

Got the pleasure of seeing the Scouts last Friday. Great show this year and it was one of only two things at the show that actually gave me goosebumps (the other would be when Crossmen played Some Nights).

Are there particular things you need to look for in order to decide whether you need to change mouthpiece sizes? I'm currently playing a Bach 3C and was wondering if their are any ways to make my sound better. Thanks!
