6 Yamaha SFZ snares in Black Forest - Plus 3 more snares that have bottom bearing edge issues!! The six snares are in good playable condition. 4 sets of tenors, two 6 inch spoks, 10,12, 13 and 14 inch 5 basses - I believe they are 16, 20, 24, 28 and 32 (but not sure). Well, we posted a little teaser a few months ago about a new all age group in Southern California. The DCP guys took the post down because they said there wasn't enough "substance" to the post. We were trying to keep things under wrap till we had more info to give. Here it is: We will NOT be a DCA Corps - instead, we will launch Orange County Independent Winds! A Winter Guard International Independent Winds Ensemble. We will compete in two local WGI Regionals and make the trip to Dayton Ohio for World Championships. We will also perform several exhibitions in our local drum circuit SCPA. Orange County Independent Winds will be the sister group to Orange County Independent Percussion - a two time WGI Open Class Medalist and now World Class Finalist. This is an all-age ensemble incorporating Brass, Woodwinds, Color Guard and Percussion. We see this as a great opportunity for folks over 21 to continue with marching arts, in a very well run/competitive environment with a chance to gain the experience of competing at World Championships!! Chops is returning, but not making the trip to finals. They have a great development staff, new equipment and a great show. They will be performing in several regional shows in their area, with plans to make it to DCA Championships next year. So Cal Dream on the other hand is "inactive" for the season. They have been struggling with extremely poor membership and leadership for a while.

On a lighter note - Arjun, a Fifteen year old Snare Drummer from the SD CA area just made Orange County Independent Percussion ( WGI PIW) and Bluecoats!! He is an absolute monster! Congrats Arjun!

Former DCA Class A Champions looking for Colorguard Caption Head and Designer. Returning to the DCA Fields in 2014 with an all new Design Staff, new Percussion and Brass Captions Heads - we only need one more piece of the puzzle.
