I think I heard that a goal for this season was to get the full show on the field. As more of a skeleton then trying to flesh out the earlier parts of the show. In the past they have usually come out without a full closer on the field.

Haha yes I do remember 2010, meteoric rise. The one thing I’d like for them to change is the voiceovers that seem a little forced.

Crown needs to write a brass book that is interesting to listen to again. I can only deal with so many Arbans that go on for too long.

Could have taken the 2000 approach and saved the diamond cutter for finals week. But I still really enjoyed the show. I won’t name the other groups people are placing ahead of them that could not keep my attention.

Seen the drums they look great, but arrived a few days ago. Either they delayed the picture or got something else that we are unaware of.

It is probably best to realize that assuredly SCV isn’t the only corps with issues. This is just the one where someone with a lot of insight has come forward.

Blue Stars will be in 6th, Cavaliers will be in 7th. Even if the variance in judges is less, I expect a point at least between the two corps. My assessment, if the Blue Stars stay over 1.5 in front of the Cavaliers at San Antonio then the Cavaliers will not catch up to the Blue Stars.

Also, took a gander at the recaps and they make a lot of sense. Feet, Percussion, Brass, & Guard show large gaps in content and achievement which is indicative of the time off not performing. I’m not sure about GE 1 G. Llacer’s score, what is their area? (Yes I know GE is full encompassing, but 1 judge typically is supposed to be a music GE perspective and the other visual GE)

What was it, 12 days off? Congrats to the guys on their first performance back with a respectable score.

I’ve never listened to Bent Knee before, and without really paying much attention to the lyrics (was doing yard work) I thought a lot of the music grooved in a way that I understood for drum corps. Looking forward to the integration of the theme, but exciting music at least!

Also it appears the brass played a gig for Gucci? Don’t know exactly what that entails but seems cool
