  1. Yes - I absolutely recommend the Roku. Have been running Flo and Box 5 on our Roku for years with NO issues, even when others report poor resolution.
  2. Check out this promo video for the 2014 Penn State Eclipse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hc1O1tBzLvA It was filmed for a contest to be featured on the Jumbotron at homecoming. You can vote for it here: http://www.collegian.psu.edu/contests/article_b2460e5a-2d32-11e3-8051-0019bb30f31a.htm Thanks for your support!!
  3. Also intertwined with "staging" is "transition" -- the ability of the designer(s) to lead the eye of the viewer from one effect (in one part of the field) seamlessly to another effect in a different location.
  4. I know the Kilties use that name now - but I've also seen references (from other posters and Drum Corps News / Drum Corps America magazine) that called them "The Kilts". Just wondering if they ever officially used that name or if they've always been "The Kilties"?
  5. Though that's true (and ironic) remember that 8th place in 1984 was a step "up" from 9th place in 1983.
  6. Very close - it's actually 96 Bishop Kearney - 95 was Sybil. Both great shows and game-changers for the activity.
  7. Well that would explain why I can't find it anywhere :) Thanks for the info. Do you know the recording artist's name or any thing that might help me obtain a copy?
  8. Anyone know who's recording of "Trouble in the Fields" Chimeras used in '94? I've found several recordings but not the one I'm looking for. Thanks for your help!
  9. Thanks everyone for the replies. It's blue today so I guess I freaked for no reason.
  10. Actually now that I look the whole Colorguard Planet folder is gray... ahhh help please!!! :)
  11. I need some help. I'm using the IP.Board Mobile format and guess I was a little 'click' crazy... must have clicked one of the folders (CGP General Discussions) and now it's gray while all the others are blue and isn't notifying me of new posts. What did I do and how do I fix it? Thanks for your help!
  12. We shared a housing site with SCV once in '84 but our practice fields had to be a mile or so apart. We were working on our show and SCV was working the push in Tender Land. Several of us in the guard had trouble hearing our own hornline over theirs... Kevin
  13. Hi Sue - long time no see / hear! I had to look a while to find myself too! I'm in the standing row, 7th head from the left -- no body, just a head with BIG hair! jeez, so long ago... Kevin
