Hello people of the Drum Corp Planet My name is Adam and I'm the nephew of Gerry Kearby. Among many other things, Gerry was an instructor in the 70s for the Marine's Drum and Bugle Corp, Blue Devils, Kingsmen, and others. Sadly, we lost Gerry to a truck accident last month. I am in the process of planning a memorial event the afternoon of Sept 23rd in Redwood City, CA. Gerry was an extremely passionate drummer his whole life and it is our goal to have a small drum line performance of some kind at the event. So I am putting out the word of any local Drum Corp alumni in the SF Bay Area that may be interested in playing at the event to send Gerry off.
