This is so sad. There's going to be a hole in my heart this season.

Bluecoats 2015. I had seen the show on video and was disappointed because I compared it to their 2014 show which I loved. But when I saw it live in Houston I was completely blown away. It was a show that you absolutely had to see live. It's still one of my all time favorite shows.

Cadets 1991 show introduced me to "A Short Ride in a Fast Machine". I became huge fan of John Adams after that. Bluecoats 2014 Hymn to Axiom introduced me to Vienna Teng's library. I don't think I would have fell in love with the music of Copeland or Bernstein to the degree I have without The Cadets.

Are we now living in a time where "The sins of the father are to be laid upon the children"? I'm sympathetic to anyone who has been the victim of sexual assault or harassment, but this was almost 42 years ago. Some kids aren't going to get to march because of something that happened before they, or in some instances before their parents were born. I'm sure I'm going to get blasted for this, but the alleged incident happened more than 4 decades ago.

I'm not a Blue Devils hater, but I can't remember the last time I re-watched one of their shows during the off season. I know how good they are, but there just aren't that memorable moments in their programs. I've come to accept that are 3 givens for every season. 1. Blue Devils will probably win 2. They will receive multiple perfect 10s in GE and Visual 3. The shows that I will watch over and over again throughout the year will come from the 2nd or 3rd place corps.

1. Troopers 2. Bluecoats 3. Crown 4. Cadets 5. Boston Honorable mentions: Spirit of Atlanta and Mandarins

Carolina Crown has arguably had the best horn line in DCI for last 15 years, which is why adding all that low end synth is a distressing, unnecessary distraction. It was more noticeable tonight than usual. Thunderous goo be gone!

I'm in tears... This is not a 4th place show or performance. And the whale lives on. Thank you Boston Crusaders.

Great run from Cadets. In the battle for 5th Mandarins with a slim margin in GE, Cadets take Music and Visual and win the spot.

Oh, my. Mandarins giving me the vapors. I'm going to have to go to church after seeing this. Mandarins performing an incredible show and giving it everything they got. Top 3 of the year for me.

Troopers just had their best run of the season. My favorite show of the year. The ballad is sublime and the soloist killed it tonight. Everyone at Troopers should be extremely proud of what they've accomplished. Thank you.

From the moment Blue Stars members are all in the green until the end, the corps has a show that would have put them in the running for 5th place. BS design team should create a show like that next year

While it breaks my Texan heart to see Crossmen miss finals, I know that Blue Knights truly deserved to be here.

That was the first DCI Championships I ever attended and I couldn't agree more.

So this is why they call them "God's Horn line".

Nice and breezy feel to Colts show, and hearing complete uninterrupted musical phrasing is such a treat these days.

Coco Chanel once said, "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off." It's the less is more idea, which I hope Blue Stars thinks about when designing their show next year. Lots of props and uniform changes can make a show look cluttered and messy.

Love this Troopers show. I can die happy now.

IMHO Crossmen should beat BK today. Their drill was much cleaner than BK and didn't use as many scatter drills.
