  1. Wasn't Murfreesboro the show site that people complained about, a year or two ago, because they only opened one gate and there was a huge backup?
  2. Wouldn't be surprised if we're given a lecture on it.
  3. Wasn't 2004 finals in Denver? That stadium is "open air" not a dome.
  4. You pretty much got it. I'll just add it was 20-25 events each year, requiring a minimum of 8-10 people. For 9+ years it was the same 4 or 5 people who worked everything and it was a constant struggle to fill the remaining spots. There were also financial considerations (due to slow sales and not meeting minimum staffing on many occasions). It was no longer a viable fundraising option.
  5. The corps ended the relationship for pretty much the reason LabMaster explained. Gillette Stadium still has a large portion of their concession stands staffed by non profits.
  6. My apologies to the Mandarins, the BD Faithful have programed me to believe NBBD. (Nobody Beats BD)
  7. craiga you're already in Castleton, aren't you? You can tell us DCP'ers. We won't judge. 🤣
  8. They already know that the Devils are going to win those shows, so they decided to cancel to save some money. 🤪🤣
  9. I believe the Madison Alums (at least the ones who post on DCP) would vigorously disagree!
  10. Update posted today on the Crusaders Facebook page....... Throughout camps and on tour, we are fortunate to receive care from our fully staffed medical team. To help prepare for the summer ahead, this weekend Chip Vokey, RN, Rick Vale, RT, and Brian Hebbard, ATC met one-on-one with members to began preventative screenings including: -Blood pressure checks -Concussion baseline screenings (cognitive retention, balance and coordination, and ocular motor function) -Arch and foot posture testing -Health history reviews By taking the time to establish baseline measurements early in the season, our team is able to effectively prevent, quickly identify, and appropriately treat injuries throughout the summer. Thank you BAC Medical Team for all that you do to keep the Crusaders safe and healthy!
  11. @Tim K I believe @IllianaLancerContra was referring to purchasing show tickets.
  12. Not that much of a change. Last year - Brass had in person camps Jan., Mar, & Apr. Percussion had in person camps Jan. & Apr.
  13. Kinda like when the Cadets did the Z-pull after he who shall remain nameless was fired?
  14. I guess I haven't been paying attention. Can anyone point me in the direction where I can read about these new rules? Please and Thank You!
  15. In 2000, Marty McCartt arranged brass and Dave Carbone arranged percussion
  16. 1999 Brass and percussion arrangers were JD Shaw, Al Murray, Darrell McKee and Dave Carbone
  17. Does anyone remember what the month was when DCI moved finals to Bloomington in 2008?
  18. Nobody was victim blaming anyone. @craiga asked what a certain term "trauma dumping" meant. @TOC was trying to answer his question.
