  1. Good Morning Crown Fans! I proudly support the Boston Crusaders. And I had hoped and thought my corps would place higher this season. I would like to offer my congratulations to the Crown organization! I think we can all agree it was a highly competitive season for sure. Already looking forward to that continuing next year. Peace and respect!

  4. I found the original announcement. INTRODUCING THE 85TH ANNIVERSARY CADETS ALUMNI CORPS Created on Tuesday, 08 Jan 2019 12:14:07 We are thrilled to announce that in 2019 we will be celebrating the 85th Anniversary of the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps along with 50 Years of Women in The Cadets. As part of our celebration, we are happy to announce we will be organizing the 85th Anniversary Alumni Corps to perform this summer. We are also proud to announce alumnus Joe Reichert will be the Corps Director for the Alumni Corps. Joe is currently the Head Band Director for the Adamson High School Band in the Dallas Independent School District in Dallas, TX. He marched in the 1992 and 1993 Cadets, and was a Drum Major in 1995, serving on the Cadets instructional staff in 1997 and 1998. "Let's make this a summer to remember," Joe said. "This is our chance to contribute to the future of this incredible organization that has given us all so much." The alumni corps will perform alongside current members of The Cadets at events on June 15, July 2 and August 3, including DCI East. All alumni from any program from any year, under any name or era including The Cadets, Holy Name, Garfield, Bergen County, Cadets2, Cadets Winter Percussion and Cadets Winter Guard are encouraged to be a part of the corps. Members of any age and physical condition are welcome to be a part of the corps, whether you're a 14 year-old alum of Cadets2, a 23 year-old recent age out, a 45 year-old with a bad knee or an 85 year-old in a wheelchair, we encourage you to participate in our celebration of 85 years of Cadets. The alumni corps will be entirely self-funded and membership will include tickets to a Cadets home show, discounted tickets for friends and family, meals and more. For more information, including how to sign up, membership fees and what uniforms the corps will be wearing, click the button below!
  5. The night ended by everyone that was on the track gathering together to sing Giant.
  6. Very often (not always) it's a corps' choice. Similar like when a corps decides to go west or east and decides how many shows to do.
  7. Do you realize the post that you're responding to was sarcasm posted by a BAC fan in response to other posters comments?
  8. Silly me for not being able to read your mind. You didn't mention budgeting in your original post. Have a nice night. 🙂
  9. In regards to the highlighted section above, they do........... "1940 Club / Scholarship Fund As member dues continue to rise, we strive to be able to aid our Giants in having the experience of a lifetime! Contribute just $19.40/month or make a one time donation! You will be listed as a 1940 Club member and you can designate a preferred section to receive your funds."

  11. George I think they were talking about Nightbeat, not this show in Atlanta.
  12. BAC Bass section on Nashville television today!
  13. Maybe you should use instead. They show that average.
  14. They are. The 2 music analysis numbers are averaged. That averaged number is added to the brass and percussion numbers. The sum of those 3 figures is divided by 2. Using the Bluecoats for an example: Their MA #'s averaged to 18.225 combine that with the 18 for brass and the 18 for percussion = 54.225 divide that by 2 and you get the number you see in the total columm for the music caption.
  15. I didn't know Ryan George was part of Cadets' Nation. When was this?
