  1. Great! If you want to give me your email address I will forward you pics and more information!. Thanks!
  2. I'm a selling my 3-valve Dynasty mellophone in G. It was previously owned by the Blue Stars and then I used it as part of the Madison Scouts Alumni Reunion project in 2006 and then purchased it after. It is in excellent condition. If interested, please let me know and I can forward pictures. Price is negotiable!
  3. Electronics and vocals are both very cool in this show from what we have seen so far at camps!
  4. Been to all the camps so far. Music is fantastic and the show design discussion sounds incredible! Can't wait to see where this show goes!
  5. This show is going to be AWESOME! Going to take the Colts to another level!!!
  6. Thanks for the response. This is great information and I am glad to hear from a current parent. This has been helpful and we would want nothing more than for our son to follow his dream and be a Cavalier!
  7. Thanks Michael! I find that really interesting! My son is a diehard Cavaliers fan and having some idea what to expect before auditioning is obviously important to his mother and I.
  8. Thanks for your perspective. I am taking it that you are not a parent!!!! My son has no qualms with the no cell phone thank you very much! It is me, AS A PARENT, that is asking the question. All I was asking for was a little perspective!
  9. I have a question for any current Cavaliers, alumni, or parents. My son wants to be a Cavalier more than anything and wants to audition this year. As a parent, I have a question about not allowing members to carry cell phones during the summer. It states that parents can email or call to communicate with their sons but how do the members communicate back to their families over the summer? I know it is different from the '80s when I marched when we had to wait in lines at a pay phone to call home, but pay phones are not readily available anymore. How easy is it for current members to contact their families? Also, anybody have any idea why this rule of no cell phone came about? In this day and age, I would think this would be common practice to allow members to carry phones. Any help would be appreciated!
  10. Right now about 80+ members for 2013. Full battery, need a few more front ensemble, and a few color guard. Main area that is needed is brass section! Great show concept and great teaching staff this year. Check out their website for more info!
  11. Camp this weekend! Can't wait to see the show start to come together and hope to see a ton of young ladies and gentlemen show up to embark on a tremendous summer!
  12. Looking forward to the season too! Great music has been chosen for this year! Can't wait to see it on the field because it's music that the audience will be able to hum to and remember when they are leaving the stadium! Can't say that about many shows these days! Placement doesn't matter. All that matters is Better Every Day!
  13. Definitely contact Pioneer. My son is in the front ensemble and they are looking for a few more members! The show concept for Pioneer is excellent this year and they are looking to have a great summer.
  14. Pioneer definitely has mellophone spots open and they have camp this weekend in Milwaukee (March 8 - 10). Great show concept this year! Should be a great summer.
