  1. Welcome East, BD! Have a great tour and looking forward to you and BAC at Tanglewood. Cheers.
  2. Wishing Boston Crusaders a very Happy and successful 75th Anniversary. Some alums are too self-involved and (think they) know better than the admin....This admin. is talented, young, BAC - experienced, fearless, and financed. Whether from Boston, FL, CA, WA, CT, ME, VT, NY, VA, NJ , PA, SC. NC, FL, GA, LA, TX, OK, OH, IL,MI, Japan, Nepal, Italy, Holland, Germany, or The UK, this organization and their Alums surely must appreciate the Global- Waldo statement made by so many talented members who marched w/. this fine Corps. I hope you continue to shake things up, laugh at the micro-managers/ whiners, know-it alls, and hyper critics---some of whom have the tenacity and poor-form to post here! It's all about you, Crusaders and have a special 75th Year ahead, y'all.x PS I'm putting y'all in my will..as soon as I'm out of the lady-house.Warden's a peach.
  3. More Copeland for Cadets. Might be nice to see a compilation of their briliant 1990s- 2000's productions. ..widen those cummerbunds, too! Love seeing the ethereal asexuality of Madison's and Cavies' guards..so less feminine more masculine?. Patriotic shows and more Vampires w/ frills ..love the genre...more trombones too ;) BD can do know wrong except w/ those birth certs lol wink-nudge:). Please!!! less costumes more meats and potatoes SCV return to their Gilbert and Sullivan unis..HMS Pinafore Crown shows reverse shows w/ PR.....guards are muscular and well trained, too. Love their drum lines. Thanks y'all for letting me have a say in this oh, so good space!
  4. Get thee to a WGI or Drum Corps...Madison. Love Onyx and their philosophy!! Take the advice of current teachers and members and remember to set your goals high...and be prepared to shine, baby. Get as many opinions as you can and go with your instincts. Best of luck!
  5. Great percussion cadets..Too many props (poorly designed, like last years' porta-potties, y'all) . Hope you take it all next yr.
  6. What a beautiful gesture and thing to do..you epitomize what I love about the activity and its fans/supporters.
  7. Reeks of conflict of interest. He should continue addressing the many ongoing 'judging' issues. or stick to "costuming".
  8. Try as you might, your spammish and blatant critiques of this corps just don't cut it. If you hadn't an agenda, I'd perhaps let it fly. You spread false and nasty rumors about their marching members back in 07-08, on this very website, which technically were in violation of HIPAA Laws. I hope you 'teach' better than you write and you lead a better example than that which you represent in your posts. The all-too-many first person singulars and self-promoting perhaps bely a deep insecurity? Will you be consultant prima-uno for the Crusaders' 75th Anniversary Plans? We here, in our private convos, certainly hope so. So, Mary Queen of shots, give it a rest. Bless your litle heart, darling.
  9. Interesting TOC scores, for sure. We Cavie honks have the utmost faith in Marie Czapinski, who, as a WGI goddess and genius, is so talented, she can judge a DCI finals GE show from the backfield! Really!! Well respected by her peers and her former Organization, totally honest and supportive, (though often-times under-valued by Easterners) They absolutely love her up in Chicago!! Perhaps Caesar needs to stop designing band unis and concentrate of his man date/ directive...cleaning up the judging in the DCIBand arena.
  10. ????? Congratulations Crusaders!! Boston (and other Corps; like my Mad-Men) has, and does have, support-events throughout the year, as well. No excuses..that's frankly, embarrassing.
  11. Love the show..hilarious. The G7, Testes, BAC, Pit trombone joke, and the gotta-pee drill. It's all in jest yet speaks volumes re. the current state of DCI. And, the corps members "know' about their drill and its significance. Great show this year, Boston -- and seeing the triad of self-importance and negativity discuss this is even worth the spam. Keep it up..Great organization/future there, Crusaders.
