They certainly did. Matt Harloff was in the stands a couple of rows back with Al Chez. I wonder what he was thinking when the cheering stopped and everyone sat down quickly to see what happened next.

The crowd in Allentown started cheering at the end of the show which really wasn't the end of the show when they broke the Crown formation and ran to the right side of the field. It kind of ruined the moment.

When I saw the Cavaliers in Allentown this past weekend, I was not impressed. The guard is good but the show design seemed very cluttered and there was too much going on at the same time. I didn't really get pulled in by the music either. I was expecting to really love this show from all the hype I've been hearing about it but it just didn't do anything for me.

Good job, Phantom! I heard that the show wasn't that good this year too, but I thoroughly enjoyed this show much more than the past few years. There was some real passion there and their color guard was great! Keep it up!

The crowd reaction was so explosive at Allentown last night. The Blue Devils were waiting to come on and the crowd was so loud for the Bluecoats. It was electric!

Glad to see the upward momentum as well. Hopefully, they don't just get close and then stay behind Boston the rest of the season. I want to see them actually pass another corps and stay ahead of them. Nothing against Boston - I have liked the Crusaders since I first saw them in the 1990's but I just want to see the Cadets do something other than drop and linger for the rest of the season. They need that confidence that they can do it.

Yes. The scores within the captions vary especially in GE. There is no clear winner across the board which will leave things open as to who the eventual champion will be. Makes things exciting.

Post from GH on FB: today ..... not great. Good chat last night but today ... was difficult. Perhaps it was the heat but the back half of the day was far from successful. To be honest .... and I am on purpose this year, I was more frustrated with these folks than at any time I can remember over years and years Our kids need to learn to listen, to learn, to push when it hurts , and to perform. Stop waiting .... our time is here. Today ... even if it's not perfect We will see what the evening brings. I love these kids. I love all the Cadets but this group is special. They came through the criticism, they believe in a show that asks you to believe .... and they are getting better and better. With three weeks to go ... this when we learn who we are, the character we hold and the future possibility of our lives. Reminds me of a great quote ... below. I pushed today. I am going to push tonight. Fly my friends ... Fly
