I love this Colts show but man the address narration seems a little unnecessary to me lol. Especially since the voices aren’t equalized in volume

Hm. Quite the bizarre show if I’m being honest. A lot of visual dirt too, especially for prelims. They seem like a healthy step behind the other top 12 contenders in the visual category

Props pet peeve: when it’s very obvious when props are being moved around. You’ve gotta stage those movements so that the audience’s eyes are averted on something else while it’s happening.

I do miss seeing BK in white, blues, and greys. That era was so fun

The 2012-2016 era was definitely my favorite from them. 2016 especially was “peak” SCV for me, I kinda miss the Weber drill in drum corps

I think it’s understated how great it is for the corps to be able to practice indoors for 2+ days leading up to prelims. Avoids rain outs, allows the corps to prepare for the acoustic environment of Lucas oil, and is just easier on the marcher’s bodies. One of the many ways BD sets these guys up for success I have no doubt BD will come out of these 3.5 days of rehearsal ironing out all the kinks to max out the show

As a BD honk I can’t concur on that last sentence, but if there had to be a corps to topple BD this season, I really, really, hope it’s Crown
