20th Century Limited Drum & Bugle Corps Staff Openings 2016 20th Century Limited Drum & Bugle Corps (TCL) of Highland, NY is looking to add new staff members for the 2016 season. TCL is entering its 24th season as an all-age parade and exhibition corps. The TCL organization has a growing program and is looking for individuals with a lot of energy and a passion for sustaining the drum corps activity in the Mid-Hudson region. We are looking for individuals who will push our team members to grow as individuals and performers; while having fun and developing pride and ownership in the success of our team-driven organization. The following positions are open: · Battery Percussion Instructor · Percussion Technician - Responsible for working directly with the caption head in instructing music and visual responsibilities for the parade season. · Program and Staff Coordinator Highland, NY is located in the Mid-Hudson Valley of NY; around halfway between New York City and Albany. Rehearsals are weekly year-round on Friday evenings (7:30pm-10:30pm). The instructional team meets weekly at rehearsals and quarterly off-site. Approximately 3-4 weekend field rehearsals are scheduled in May/June to prepare for field exhibitions. Applicants must have experience in the marching activity specifically, and past teaching experience is preferred but not a necessity. In additional to subject expertise, staff must attend staff meetings and maintain open communication with all other administrative and instructional team members. We are selling 6 Pearl Competitor CMS 1309/C 13"x9" black finish marching snare drums. One of the drums is still in the box never used. The drums are in great condition. The drums are about a year old and were used sparingly. 5 of the drums include the harness adapter. No harnesses are included with the drums. The shipping will be paid by the buyer and we will insure the delivery. Asking $900.00 for the six snares (that's $150/each). There may be extra heads that we'll include with the sale. We are selling 49 shakos in very good condition. The Shakos were used for a few seasons by a junior parade corps. The lot includes 1 white drum major shako (large) and 48 black shakos of various sizes (see below). The white Shako is vinyl with gold trim and a blue, black, and gold stripe on the left side. The black Shakos are cloth covered with gold trim and a blue, black, and gold stripe on the left side. The medallions are lyres with laurel in gold. All Shakos include plastic carring cases. The Shakos do not include plumes. Small - 9 Medium - 18 Large - 18 DM White - 1 large XL - 3 Asking $250 for the lot and cases. Buyer to take care of shipping costs.
