i can deal with that, i have the qfinals apd of our show already... i just want to be able to listen to my last performance.

w/Stp: but, i will say, after pushing through kansas and oklahoma (and the heat wave that hit the east coast when we were there too) it made rehearsing finals week in wisconsin seem very very easy.

im just... in shock... especially about the kansas part... kansas was #### when you were being treated well. i can't begin to imagine what that must have been like. i really hope things can be turned around there... itd be a #### shame for this kind of thing to happen again.

If i could have one more season, i would definitely go back with the Blue Stars again.. however, going with the no alma mater rule, id have to go with bluecoats or scv

yeah... only 3 hornline ageouts too (me, another trumpet, and a mello) . if most come back i can't wait to see what happens there next year.

I dont seem to remember this... but it really doesnt make sense... i mean.. #### is a pretty common name. #### cheney for instance. or #### jane and spot. id really think it should be allowed.

something id suggest would be slightly different guidelines for the offtopic and ontopic forums, with the offtopic being a bit more loose. admins should only need to jump in when someone is OBVIOUSLY flamebaiting, or a flame war is going on. oh, and the offtopic forums are most certainly necessary. many of us may not necessarily want to talk drum corps, but want to talk with other people who share the similar 'drum corps perspective' about general things in life. were it not for the offtopic forums.. i might never have marched. The 2 people that pulled me most to marching both were people i first met in the bored forum. overall i agree, many times over-moderation has dulled the place down. to be fair, i think other things can contribute to this too. out of the control of DCP, more and more corps do not allow current members to post either in the general or in all of DCP (including my own, so i only post offtopic until i age out).. this removes a lot of the potential membership and 'new blood' that dcp could be gaining.

i still cant see it.. though i do see the test thing added to my profile. maybe only certain member groups have permission to edit this?

they have before... at one point DCP reindexed the board.. causing the postcounts to be recalculated

hmm.. i just edited above post.. 90 min after the original.. and i can quick edit it. (is the time limit longer?) i love being able to quick edit like that.. without having to load another page.. but not having the edited tag added could be confusing esp if someone changes something someone comments on test

DCIs goal for next time should be: expand. try and get at least one theater in every state... also... maybe this has been answered before... but why thursday? when a huge part of the potential audience is in school... that makes it very hard if the nearest theater is hours away.

umm.. no... a lot of college bands arent corps style, as well as some high school bands in the south. some marching bands are show bands... and some are traditional high step bands.. (and some are blends.. ISU does traditional high step for pregame, and corps style for half time)
