  2. This is a project that I am undertaking myself. But it does have Roman's blessing. The production cost are not going to be high because I will not at this point have a film crew. Please visit http://igg.me/at/gethungrydigdeep Mike
  3. My name is Michael Olsen and I an Army vet, Drum Corps vet an independent filmmaker. I am seeking funding for a project that I have started called “Get Hungry, Dig Deep”. It is a story that examines the world of Drum Corps. For 98 days young men and women sleep on gym floors, practice from sun up to sun down and travel by bus mostly at night. They give up their lives for these 98 days. However, if you ask them why they do it they will tell you that it is worth it. They "Get Hungry and Dig Deep". This is known as Drum Corps. This documentary will follow the Staff and the Marching Members of the Pioneer Drum & Bugle Corps as they embark on the start the 2015 Drum Corps International Season. The Documentary will capture the highs and lows of being a World Class Drum & Bugle Corps. It will capture the daily challenges that are faced by its members both on a group level and an individual level. The production of "Get Hungry and Dig Deep" will offer an inside look of the world of Drum Corps. you can view more about this project by visiting: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/get-hungry-dig-deep/x/9120207 I hope you decide to fund my project. Sincerely, Michael Olsen
  4. So your telling me that between Allentown and yesterday, they only improved by 7 tenths of a point?
  5. Watching Pioneer throughout the season, it seems that they got better every day. For the judges to not allow them to break 70 all season is a clear indication that DCI seems to hold grudges as well as look at the previous history of a corps. Did the Pioneer deserve the score they received? Were other corps that placed above them that much better? You decide.
  6. Pioneer may not make finals this year, but with the show they have they could easily make top 20.
  7. Pioneer has added alot of changes as well. This is a good year for Pioneer.
  8. I applaud you for wanting to be drum major but I think you also need to consider this, a majority of drum corps fill the drum major spot among the members.
