I read them too and I didn't think the criticism was that serious. Yes BD wore them more, but they moved well in them, and they weren't that tall to begin with. They do look great on phantom, I love the whole uniform, but I also agree I think the capes are too tall, and would look better just a bit shorter. However you missed the parts where they compliments the show and performance, to only noticed the little critique on the capes.

Overall Midwest was a great start. Shows are good in general and it should be a fun and exciting season. No corps is without faults but are things I believe will change and improve as the season progress. Blue Stars I love what you are doing. They have an mesmerizing quality this year. The concept is just really refreshing and they play very well.. I am so intrigued with it. I feel transported by it. Phantom is really going for it and I happy they finally have found a way to modernized and still keep themselves. Musically and visually strong, but let's hope they developed the show to maximize very well. I was clapping hard for them. Uniforms look good, but cape too long. But they are amazing. Troopers I am happy with your show aswell, it's a up for me from last year. I see the potential of this show growing to become one of their most memorable shows in recent history. However I see placed in the show where they can add some much punch to the music and drill. Colts very nice. I know the color pallette is no for some, because they seem Fadish according to criticism, but my take on it is that I like the colors, but it was lacking contrast until the color guards changed going to the end of the show. The flags worked well. I think the overall tone was beautiful and match the feel of theme, just added more contrast please. And work on the impact of drill and music some more. It's has plenty to grow.

I agree the demand is way higher than 22. Lot's of content, lots of drill cleaning to get done. It's really packed and so much can improve and change. I am excited about the-cut-outs developments through the season. Will be such a monster.

I will say this, If politics does not play into results, Mandarins should rise significantly in the top 12. What a show! A fan favorite for sure.

Simple and Logical

I agree with everything. Of course GO MANDARINS! Boston/BC fan-bases are really classy guys.. I wish them a phenomenal season. Indeed for Cadets. Blue Stars should have been on my list definitely. PC they are strong and coming.

Question: Who are we most looking forward to besides Blue Devils MIGHT three peat and why ? For me, many of them, if not all, but if i have to single out a few i'd say Mandarins. Because the theme is interesting, and i'd like to see where they go with it. But i am excited to see if they get to move up from 10th, because i thinks it time they move up. SOA. Redemption sounds sweeter for this corps who have a great repertoire, and i have heard three clips of their show and i love them. Can they make it back into finals this year ? Maybe ? idk. Will be up against Blue knights, Madison, Crossmen, P.Crest. Lets see and welcome back! Cadets. Without seeing the show yet, just off the repertoire and just my feelings.. I believe they might just have a top 3 show this year. We might get competitive show from them. Can they do it ? Cavaliers. I am hearing great things from out of this preseason and spring training. Sounds like another top three show if the show really live up to the hype floating around. Many top three shows can exist all at once without actually making the top three... But as i'm basing this off design and not the performance. A top three show can exist with the design but it is up to the performance to take it up there..🤷‍♂️ Boston Crusaders. They really did smell blood last year. No pun intended but they are hungry sharks this year, and might be swimming their way to get that blood. Is this the year they pull out all the bells and whistle to topple The Blue Devils. Bluecoats. Yes they excites me.. I like how campy and fun they can get with the designs and the uniforms. Risk taking and consistently producing top 3 shows. I enjoy their offerings musically and visually and i feel like a kid watching them. This year is no different and my expectation of them is wild guessing, they usually have me scratching my head at first but still turn out to be so much joy and fun lol. (Edited)Oh i forgot one... Phantom Regiment. I want to see where they go from last year, how will they build of that. with that new look and modernized music, what will the design look like for them and their identity. Those uniform designs i've seen so far are the best i have seen so far. imho However i am excited in general for all corps, behind each there's a story and that story alone will infused the corps to keep telling it through this season and beyond. What a great year this might turn out to be after all that is said and done.

Yeap the opening is going to be a beast! While were at it let's get back to BD 2023 The-Cut-Outs. With 6 days remaing for premier, should be a great start. So excited for this weekend family day on Sunday, with just eight days away from BD first competitive performance.

Yes. In every aspect of life, it's the same story for what or whoever is on top goes through this.. It's like it's design to be that way.

You failing to understand we can listen to your point but we still don't have to agree.... Because to us we enjoy BD just as the other corps. And if you didn't know, we actually do criticized BD on many things. Well at least i know i have, and i criticize all corps for different things with there shows, but guess what i don't always say them out loud or even focus on them, i chose to focus on what i enjoy.

No disrespect but i think your so up into your head that your making things up. I genuinely think you should take a break, cool off and come back with a clear mind. It's not that serious no matter how much we debate on here. Try to objectly see if you can find the things you love and enjoy about DCI and not focus so much on what you don't like and see how different that will make you feel. Sincerely.

Your being nice, i am calling the spades as i have been observing them... LOL... They will soon say i am being snarky. There are some real heartfelt criticism that make sense, but there are some BS ones that come from another place that don't make any sense. Seen all of them and i can pick them out based on how and what is being ranting on about. In general they point out things in BD they don't like, while skipping over, or making excuses for other corps for the same things. If they going to call things out, then call out all the corps whose guilty of it. Call out DCI for not rewarding what you like and not pick on BD, at least BD will change direction as soon DCI decides to reward something else. IDk
