  1. I disagree. The show that will be most fondly remembered this year will be Crown. Listen to the audience reaction at the end of Tilt vs the end of Kinetic Noise, a huge drop in hype. Crown got the biggest ovation this year by a large margin (like Bloo did last year), and that is telling as to which show will go down as memorable and special.
  2. So they've confirmed an Orlando show, just not the date, is that correct?
  3. Here's the photos I took at finals, a link to the album as well as some of my favorites http://imgur.com/a/Uy2NS#0 Finals retreat panorama HUGE 9000x1300 full res panorama of Finals retreat https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5687/20529839106_2ee2182e41_o.jpg[2]
  4. EDIT: thought this was the 2015 thread, oh well I shared these in the Photos thread (on page 2) but in case you missed them; full album here http://imgur.com/a/Uy2NS#0
  5. Either Crown, Madison, or the Cadets. Crown in the section leading to the ballad, Madison's opening statement, and Cadets in their TEN set in the closer. Bluecoats were surprisingly QUIET compared to the rest of the top five, and that's after hearing them up in the 400s and 7 rows back in the 100s during finals week. Their hornline have an amazingly rich sound, but it was noticeably softer than the others, which I was really surprised by.
  6. I had an AMAZING time in Indy last week watching all of these fantastic performers. I was there for I&E Wednesday, Prelims, Semis, Soundsport, Drumline Battle, and Finals, and every moment was a treat. Thank you to all of the performers for an unforgettable season and so many great memories. Also a special thanks to Tobias for being a great host and putting me up in his hotel when my arrangements fell through last week, can't thank him enough for his generosity. Here are 122 images I shot from Thurs-Sat from various seats, some of my favorites are below. http://imgur.com/a/Uy2NS#0 Finals retreat panorama HUGE 9000x1300 full res panorama of Finals retreat https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5687/20529839106_2ee2182e41_o.jpg[2]
  7. Crowd did not boo when Crown was announced second. Loud sighs and awws but I heard no booing sitting on the 50. Congrats BD and Crown, both champions to me.
  8. Sitting on the 40 7 rows back and I couldn't hear anything from the speaker during the opener.
  9. Blue Devils and Crown both put on gold worthy performances tonight! Amazing year of drum corps!
  10. Electronics issues might cost them a medal. Ouch. Opener was really flat without them. Such a risk. Performance was outstanding other than that. I'd have then and Cadets neck and neck.
  11. ####. Crowd started Blooing before they even stopped clapping for The Cadets. Cadets were killer tonight though, these two are going to be fighting hard.
