Yah. They brought it big with a new ending and a LOT of verve.

RCR's roots are in indoor. Brass has been their 'growing area' the past few years but dang this year they're really coming along.

Scores about 2 down from OC finals so far. But that's not a bad 'hit' considering that judges are probably trying not to break the bank by the end of the night.

That was "the moment" so far.

They really did. Good power, lots of balance, spread out and really selling it. Love these "last runs" as they can put all their passion into it.

The props frame the area making them seem bigger but they're still spread 30 to 30 for this Fly to Paradise front hit. As you mentioned, lots of leg/body motion going on ads they play and march forward.

Percussion runs so deep in Open Class this year. Love the use of a low brass voice for the solo in Fly to Paradise.

Golden Empire has felt like a "step up" each time in Marion. Looking forward to seeing this again.

Shadow percussion is just great. Out pacing their placement standing by far again today.

It's officially written into the show now, so they have to yell it.

I had to do some business while watching Raiders. Colt Cadets on now with their big sound from a smol corps. I love their music selections this year. They've got a great book

Raiders, with the best use of hamster wheels since Madison.

Oh ew. I imagine the Pio/Inbhear Mor deal was set up over a year ago before Pio's stuff broke loose officially.

Yeah. They had all sorts of new flourishes from Marion going on. It was a fantastic run! Do they do some more touring in Canada after DCI? or at least a 'home show' of some sort back home? Such a great show this year.

Open Class is a gem again this year. Les Stentors opening with this singing is sweet. I don't remember the DM using the rose at the start in Marion, nice touch!

HA! DCI finally fixed the spelling of Psychologists in their ad for health professionals.
