ok. Pacific Crest guard as these kind of "skirt pants" and I've mentioned they make "gumby legs' as they move. Legends is doing them with 100% more gumby-ness.

Don't know how full the stands are (Michigan City tended to have a good crowd, but I don't think the stands were as high) but this might be the biggest crowd and under the lights for a lot of these corps-

Shakos and plumes make everyone two feet taller and accentuate the intervals and movement in drill.
Given that movement in World Class design is centered more on the body than the drill, the shakos and plumes would accentuate the wrong things for them.
But yeah, here, we see how effective they can be.
