The mute flip is the 2019 wink. Bank.
I had that thought too. Then again, it's that massive BD swagger too.

Here's my quibble with the show. After a really strong thematic opening that gives us the 'story' of the stage going dark, the ghosts coming out etc. The rest of the show, while performed amazingly, with groove, fascinating drill moves during the ballad, etc. etc. doesn't seem to carry that 'story' anywhere clearly.

Curtain wall props expose that rifle work before the wall ripple so much. And the flags coming back over the second ripple are just super crazy good.

BD guard is coming for BAC. This could be a super race. The way they're starting to tell the Ghostlight story is fantastic. The book they do may not be as exhausting to watch as BAC, but its super nuanced with a ton of different stylistic things going on.

###### BD guard....I'm gonna have to try and sleep tonight.

Is there something electronic wrong with the stadium hookups or something? Everyone since the delay seems to have issues and Flo's sound went from good to "off night"

I do like a lot of what's going with Blue Stars now though with that mountain prop. One or both of the following is happening, They're using it more effective or Flo is showing how it's used better. It looks stunning under the lights at night. I wonder if they could back light it effectively since it seems to have some translucentness to it? They could give it subtly shifting colors from sunset through cold blues and purples of the night to morning or something to make it amazing for Indy.

Do not like the uggs they're marching in. Do love the toques though. Pants and flannel are standard garb but the fur shoulders are gauche. I don't know who designed them but its like they had some members dipped in glue and stand there and have random fabric tossed at them by Michael Cesario until he said, "There, its CHOCOLATE."

That is one nice looking prop.. I would climb that.
It's shinier tonight in the lights. I'm noticing the trees too. I seriously want one for Christmas.

I would had to have called in. 🙂
Oh I had flexible schedule with the job and had those three days off. I parked it there by the fence in the back and just listened until it was time to pack up and head to the stadium for Semis.

Woo! Get a screenshot tomorrow from Flo's soundless replays video.

In ‘94, Regiment had a show where the busses had to park about a mile from the stadium. After retreat, we formed up a block and started marching through the neighborhood. The streets were almost pitch black and it started pouring on us—just unloaded.
Since it was around midnight, it was just us out there, only illuminated by the occasional flash of lightning. I always like to imagine someone peaking through their curtains to get a look at the storm, seeing a flash of lightning...and the Phantom Regiment, marching by in complete silence, during a raging storm. (“What the...”[peeks back out. nothing but rain] “Must’ve been my imagination...”)
Oh Christ. I was a massive PR homer in high school. Although I'd have been well past high school at this point, I would have LOVED to see that. That would go right up there with my SCV story from 2000. Went to quarters and came home humming Adagio. Next morning I go for my walk around my apartment complex area in Laurel, MD. I swear I'm still hearing Adagio ringing in my ears. Toward the tend of the route I go back to the middle school....there's SCV working on the ballad. So surreal.

Mountain props look like the Coors beer cans, but that'd be BK's thing.
Blue Stars brass has such a distinctively nice sound.- 1

P.S. I want one of those tree props for a Christmas tree in the house.

Mush! Mush! Blue Stars taking the field.

Oh nice drill move getting that column rotated at speed while playing then doing all the interweaving with it to the close. That's great stuff.

Also. The field coverage during Hurt.

Dynamics work in this show is just super effective.

Oh I do appreciate that Flo caught the flag feature there on the hit and then backed out to catch what the brass drill was doing. They're starting to learn the shows. You know who's taking notes in the stands....

It sorta comes back to it for me with the tap-dancing bit. Shoes without feet dancing, etc. And then the runway closer picks a bit of it up but I'm not sure if. the violinist is out there to be a character in the story or what.
