    The Scouts have one of the most difficult musical books on the field this year. I would venture to say top 6. The visual design is a step up from the past couple of years as well. It is a bit unfortunate at the moment that they don't seem to be getting the musical credit they deserve. Overall I like the direction that they are headed.

    Since so many people are ranting about how disappointing the Scouts are and how they might not make top 12, go ahead and predict that they will get beat by Crossmen next!

    Why do you believe Madison could drop down to the 11th spot before it is all said and done Brians? Why do you not think that they could possibly move up? Is it personal wish or based on professional observation?

    I see a lot of opinions and criticisms about the Scouts program this year. It's easy to criticize fro the sidelines. But, does anyone have any positive suggestions to give along with their time and expertise along with the current staff? I was fortunate enough to march in the 80s which was wonderful times competitively for Madison. But I realize that they have to change musically, visually, etc. in order to remain competitive in the activity. If they have to play whole notes and dance for 10 minutes I am all for it. Whatever it takes!!! The staff is aware of where they need to go. They are the ones in critique and talking to.the judges every show. Please stop the criticism so much guys. Because if we are not part of the solution, we are part of the problem and it that will not help this organization move forward at all.
