I heard the person is rotated, at least some of the time. But I don't know for sure. As to what they represent, I think it's fate. It's all around you and that's why it moves around. Or something like that. TBH, I hardly notice the figure, I'm too focused on the excellent drill and the amazing CG. I have no idea what the show is trying to communicate, but I love the energy and the drill and the brass and the CG and the percussion. I know the red figure walks out at the beginning, after that I don't even notice it again for the rest of the show. I thought it left the field actually.
