  1. That is as much the nature of the Blue Devils family night as anything. The corps had just spent a few hours sitting in the stands watching all of the other performing groups on a cold and windy night. They did a very abbreviated warmup and jumped right into the show. I expect next weekend will look and sound much better after a proper show day prep.
  2. They had been practicing at IUPUI just up the street and chose to do brass warmups there Friday and Saturday.
  3. Tears in my eyes a few times during that show. They earned #18 tonight.
  4. I'll be at the Concord Pavilion watching with a much better crowd than you will find on here. I plan to turn my phone off.
  5. Whatever. This is a thread intended to bash BD. Nothing else. To be honest, most of the top corps move and play about the same amount of time. BD just does it better and with more variety. Some, like the OP appear to be ###### that Crown is not winning.
  6. Over on all of them. Seriously, it has started already.
  7. This is a whole lotta text just to say "I'm mad that BD is going to win again." Haters gotta hate.
  8. Maybe we could have one night without a ####### troll making a new account to ##### and whine like a little girl. People like you make we want to see your favorite corps drop a place in finals. #### off!
  9. Right when Jerry says "The Concord Blue Devils" just have a c Corp kid step through and do the Tug "victory" pose.
  10. Sure, but when others compare it to the twelve at SCV, 40 > 12. :)
  11. Actually two sections. There are 40 trumpets in the feature because the Mellos swapped out for trumpets for it also.
  12. Brass judge made some big spreads tonight. Most corps at least .3 apart. Only one closer than that.
  13. At this point, it is more likely that Cavaliers over take Bloo.
  14. That part totally reminds me of the finish in 05. I actually looked up the music credits to check.
  15. Ooooohhhh. Again requesting creditials when you offer none.
  16. This is something I have tried to clarify a number of times here. Doing one impossibly hard thing perfectly is amazing and a wonderful accomplishment, BUT it only proves you can do that one thing. Even if you have the greatest talent on the field that can do anything they are asked, you never showed it to the judges or the audience. This is where the variety of skills comes into play. The Blue Devils are well versed in showing off a variety of skills throughout the show. This is where they get a lot of points in the visual caption, even if they don't "march"as many drill sets as others.
