  1. At the Dekalb region I got big vibes from BD, Bloo, and PR. A Meh vibe from Cavies. And a bad vibe from Cadets. (Vibes of crowd around me, not me)
  2. This is the most enjoyable show I have seen from BD in a long time. Other than the Justin bit my biggest beef is their usage of T-Bones. I place their trombones 1st in power but last in taste and effect. Glissing as loud as you can over and over gets old... even for a trombone player.
  3. Do the Cadets post a daily schedule anywhere online? I've been looking but can't find it because I just drove by their rehearsal.
  4. I was at a rehearsal this week and that was their biggest focus during ensemble. Definitely makes a difference!
  5. I saw the schedule and wished I had this when I marched lol
  6. 2 Solid blocks and a decent break before the show. It's a good day for drum corps!
  7. Yep... I feel that scores all depend on what happens during the first competition. Since judges are told to go off of spreads they generalize what score they give a corps. The easiest way to do so is to go off of the last performances.
  8. I'm definitely interested in the Colts through the Cavaliers scores today! Between a full panel and the judges that are on that panel there could be a small shake up in the regular scores.
  9. Nope... Cadets are a much better core in terms of off-season hype so they get a ton more people talking about them during that period of time. They show so many videos and have so many videos of Hopkins talking about the show that people have something to talk about. Just look at the Bluecoats... They withheld so much information until show time and less people talked about them in the off season. I am not saying that talking or not talking in the off season is a good or bad thing. I personally loved following the Cadets in the off season but I also loved the suspense from the Bluecoats. I just feel like your analysis is off base. When there is more to talk about more people will talk.
