Agreed. I'm very surprised Crown has stayed as high as they are with that show. High performance levels but that show especially part two is a dog.

Her contract with BD is still intact.

They took that out. People were able to see up her skirt when she was climbing out of it. Blasphemous and in poor form.

I meant out scoring Cavies in Brass.

Biggest hurdle for Cadets is the choir. I love it. Adds a beautiful layer of musicality to the show and very appropriate for the MASS but judges are just having a difficult time scoring it and it is affecting Brass and Percussion scores. The season is almost over, I hope judges can quickly adjust. Percussion is strong and brass has improved vastly. Should be outscoring Cavies at this point. Praying judges finally see the choir for the beauty it adds, the great performance level they're at and adjust the music caption scores upward.

BD is amazing. I just can't express enough the respect I have for the consistency of excellence and competitive prowness this corps possesses. I don't always love your shows, but you know how to construct and perform to stay on top year after year.

Cavies always had a unique sound agreed but I'd have them under BAC and Cadets in Brass as well as Musical Anal. Music is a bit choppy. Judges have been very generous with Cavies in those areas this season IMO. Guard is just amazing though. I'd have Cavies, BAC and Cadets all within a point of one another. The 2.5+ gap has been nuts. Again IMO.

Bloo is underscored. Not sure why but my eyes and ears are not failing me at forty something.

They are certainly on the right trajectory. Hopefully some solid cleaning the next few days. Get the guard and VP crisp, work ensemble all which will help Effect.

I think Bloo has a better show and are hardly dirty so should be beating Crown but somewhere along the line a decision was made otherwise the Effect scores would be 0.7 over Crown. Just my opinion.

Do you like Bloo slotted in 4th? I think they should be higher but it's becoming an entrenched position for them.

Such an underrated show competition wise. Hopefully we see a surge going forward. 1. Love the uniforms and how they change. Not easy for Cadets to change from the traditional unis but a great job in design for this particular show. 2. Love the live choir adding a beautiful layer of musicality. Best use ever of voice in DCI. 3. Love the expansive field coverage they utilize. Great drill. 4. Easy to follow concept. Look at the title, watch the show. More than I can say for several groups that are outscoring them. 5. The pews are a great prop. Non obtrusive and utilized nicely. 6. The closer when pristine clean will be a majestic and appropriate ending to this particular show. Now let's see the judges take a second look at this show and not stay in the slotted mode.

It was an adjustment because the judges couldn't manage to listen to simultaneous musical voices (Percussion, brass, choir), so some brass was cut to allow choir to shine. Amazing all the #### other groups do is fine but a choir layered over some brass passages was too confusing for judges.

They need to close gaps, pop some caption surprises. I'm so surprised percussion has been in the dumps all season. Never expected that.

As I said, I hope they continue to clean. On paper anyway, that should improve caption scores and clarity should help boost GE. Not sure competition wise what i am expecting. Maybe over take BAC? Cavies seem to be sailing towards Bloo. Don't think overtaking Cavies is in the cards for Cadets this season.

Not being rude but the "solo" missed much more often than not and eventually staff needs to make a decision there and they did. And to the soloists defense, he had to start the solo cold and they made him sit cross legged on a pew. Not the easiest way to breath from the diaphragm.

So can Boston beat Cavies? They seem to be cruising in the fast lane. Great show that just keeps getting better. Congrats BAC and I certainly underestimated the jagernaut that was building built all winter.

Certainly creates a different mood from a constantly fracking solo. The changes in Almighty father are good. Took out confession (less narration yeah). I think the rest is just cleaning, performance levels and student emotion. Must let the cake rise now. Again hoping for "some" type of positive tidbit tonight score/placement wise.

They need to breakthrough in SA. An inspired, well performed, emotional demonstration of what they have and can do. If they don't do that, it's over for them. You can only kick the can down the street for so long. To change judges minds, the seed must be planted Saturday, and watered at every single performance after that with no exceptions. (See Crown 2015).
