  1. I'm hoping the admin can help me out here. As weird as this request may seem, but I wish to have this account deleted effective immediately. I have enjoyed my time on DCP, it also has nothing to do with any feuds I seem to have, that I was recently made aware of. I've had enough of this account and the crap that comes with it. I dug myself a grave, burned bridges, and even lost friendships on here. This was all self inflicted and my own fault. Were there times I could have handled myself better? Certainly! More professional? Absolutely. I may come back or not, but it will be under a new name and a fresh start. So please, go ahead and delete this account effective immediately. Thank You, Adam M. Correia
  2. I've gotta say, that was extremely well done. Good choice on the song. I'm surprised you got the rights to use a Foo Fighters song, that must have cost a pretty penny.
  3. You nailed it again Stanford! "Meh" is a vocal way of shrugging ones shoulders. Young, foot-in-mouth, hot headed but with much love of the activity.
  4. Every section is LOADED! Don, looks like you mean business this year!
  5. Because its not Renegades it doesn't matter right? This is great news, I can't wait to see the new uniforms. Knowing the cats I know, they will stick to the roots but have something flashy and classy.
  6. Kilties get scored fairly just like everyone else. The Kilties haven't had a product good enough to be in finals, that is all it is. I have been in the concessions area and heard many Kilties members, while in partial uniform ##### and moan about how they get screwed over, the judges are out to get them, theories this, conspiracy that. Its quite simple really...get a great staff, design a program, practice smart, practice hard and the rewards will come.
  7. What would it matter? He is free to make his point without justifying it to anyone, especially a BoD from a drum corps.
  8. Happy Birthday Gene! Hope it was a great one. Have a Blue on me friend.
  9. Best picture out of the series by far. Look at those heights and angles. PERFECT!!! VERY underscored drum line and drum corps this past weekend. Judges didn't do a good job assessing A Class IMO. They did a fine job in Open Class, just not A. No, not because Grenadiers didn't come first, so don't give me that rap. There were a lot of things in subcaptions I and many people would have done differently.
  10. I agree, but you will be given a lot of flack for this.
  11. Don't you have more "gigs" to do? Go play your quads to dance music some more... Oh and quit spamming Ghostnote, PDF and various other drummers forums while your at it. It isn't appreciated.
  12. Watching in sunny warm Kingston, ON, Canada, but only for a short while. I have to go out tonight and I might not have a way to check the live feeds.
  13. My heart is always with Grenadiers no matter what. My other favourite corps in DCA is by far Minnesota Brass Inc. They are a ###### drum corps! I think they can gain some ground in drums and horns tonight. I have a feeling with scores so low in drums, I have a feeling they had an off day. I know they are better than 5th in drums. MUCH BETTER! Great corps all around that can get it done!
  14. Hmmm, not too sure where Grenadiers could have lost 1.24 Govies. 1.24 should be no problem for Grenadiers to pick up tomorrow night. If not, then they should be proud anyway. However, I had a feeling DCA would keep the spread just enough to keep Grenadiers from that top spot.
  15. I'm on 26.6k dial-up, but ###### I'm here! Coming in hot from Wolfe Island to check out how things are going. Its a BEAUTIFUL day here on the Island. Perfect day for DRUM CORPS!
  16. Seems like an excessive amount of time to come out with Grenadiers and Govies scores.
  17. Yes and no! No humidity can dry the horn players out. COTTON MOUTH!
  18. Heh...I would personally love to see Grenadiers back in Open Class! They did very well for themselves in with the big boys, with popping out some surprises here and there. First show of 1997 beating Buccaneers Being on top of Skyliners, Bushwackers and Hurricanes who are staples in DCA The AWESOME but fun rivalry between Grenadiers and Crusaders The small but very mighty percussion section of 2002 finishing 5th overall drums in Prelims (0.85 behind Buccaneers) *Thank you John Flowers!!!* Making finals for the first time in 1998 after being 12th in 1995, 1996, and 1997 Sorry, just felt like remembering the good times I had with Grenadiers from 1997 to 2003 and 2005. I took 2004 off, which was a stupid move.
  19. I hope to get down to see all my NY State friends at some point. I'm thinking Spring, once the little one is at least a few months old and its not winter! I dislike I-81 in the winter... A LOT! Good luck this weekend Chuck! I know you guys will do well!
