  1. I've been watching the scores, it's definatly tight, i wish i were marching this summer with my raiders family... but they are definatly making it interesting with yamato, revo and impulse, i can't wait to see what happens b**bs
  2. Looks like 2006 is shaping up to be a another very fun and competitive summer, Good luck to all :)
  3. i dont like to post much, but i feel the need to. This just seems like some racist posts are up. The show sight may have not looked very pretty, but not at any moment did any of the corps members i was with or myself felt any threat what so ever. I just think some people arent very comfortable with people from different backgrounds and want to blow it up and sound scared for no reason. There was not one moment where the hornline experienced disrespect or harasment. We were pulled off the field cause of the rain, and had to wait on the tracks, we talked to some of the people in the stands and they were ok. No trouble, no attitudes, nothing negative at all. I'm neither white, nor african american so i'm not picking sides or being biased, im just calling it as i see it. There were plenty of officers around in case there was any trouble, and from the looks of it there wasnt much of it. People should chill out and be more open to others societies instead of being judgmental or scared. Thats all i will say. Good day to all.
  4. Hey congrats to you guys as well. You guys are a very strong corps for only being out a few years. It was awesome having both our hornlines play together, you guys rocked. Good luck!!
  5. This is a great article. The 2005 season is looking like it will be a great and fun season for us. Thank you for all those supporters, its greatly appreciated, and good luck to all this season!
  6. I play on a 6V i believe it is, works beautifully.
  7. From what i've heard, and from the staff changes at Captial Regiment, i feel their hornline will make the biggest improvement out of any div 1 corps.
  8. I've marched div 3 corps for 2 seasons and will for years to come. 2002 9 trumpets 6 mellophones 1 baritone 2 euphs 1 contra total 19 2003 9 trumpets 4 mellophones 2 baritones 2 euphs 2 contras total 19 If i were to field a div 1 corps 24 trumpets 12 mellophones 8 baris 16 euphs 12 contras total 72
  9. I cant vote because i havent played on all the different kinds, but Dynasty is very good, but i also heard that Yamaha Xenos, the horns the cadets use are also very good. Im speaking about trumpets.
  10. As for the licks, how about Phantom regiment 96...the sopranos in shostacovich's 5th symphony, 4th movement.
  11. Yes indeed he's the man.......he was my elematry school music teacher. Great guy. Is he still writing ?!
