  1. Does anyone know where Crown will be rehearsing on Saturday in Allentown? The middle school they are staying at doesn't appear to have a field so I'm assuming they will be rehearsing elsewhere.
  2. Forgot about the speedway (we went there the first year when we had a car) and the Rhythm Discovery Center which is in the basement of our hotel (Embassy Suites)
  3. Restaurants Adobo Grill is good if you like Mexican (I was amazed to find a good Mexican place in Indy). The tableside guac is great and the ceviche is as good as I've had in Mexico. http://www.adobogrill.com/indianapolis/index.aspx Ram Restaurant is a microbrewry/brew pub. The beers are excellent (I like the Butt Face Amber) and the food is very good too. http://www.theram.com/locations/in-indianapolis/ Weber Grill is always jammed - probably because the vent the BBQ aromas and you can smell it for blocks. It's not bad but pretty expensive for what you get. http://www.webergrillrestaurant.com/locations/?indianapolis&mcid=0&scid=3&id=80 Jimmy Johns is a good place to grab something to carry in to eat in your seat during the show. Things to do The Indy Zoo isn't huge but it is very nice. Had a new primate exhibit last year that is pretty cool. http://www.indianapoliszoo.com/SitePages/Home.aspx Being a veteran and history buff I really enjoy some of the historical monuments. The Soldiers and Sailors Monument is a very nice monument. Very interesting architecture, great view from the top and a nice Civil War museum in the base. http://www.visitindy.com/indianapolis-soldiers-sailors-monument-monument-circle The Indiana World War Memorial & Museum is pretty great too. http://www.visitindy.com/indianapolis-indiana-world-war-memorial If you don't mind a bit of a walk (or a cab ride assuming you have no car) The Scottish Rite Cathedral is gorgeous. http://www.aasr-indy.org/scottish-rite/tour-cathedral And of course there are the museums near White River Park: Indiana State Museum http://indianamuseum.org/ Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art https://www.eiteljorg.org/ NCAA Hall of Champions http://www.ncaahallofchampions.org/index.php And of course the park itself http://inwhiteriver.wrsp.in.gov/
  4. Yesterday I was in my High School drum line and now I am looking towards retiring hopefully in the next 5-10 years. The older you get, the faster it goes.
  5. Where can I find out where they will be rehearsing and their schedule?
  6. They do indeed - but a beer will set you back about $9 if memory serves.
  7. Coming together nicely but the I still think the ending needs more oomph. Show fizzles out instead of ending dramatically
  8. Hot dog time. Very good corps but the non-stop talking ruins it for me
  9. Is it bad luck to open an umbrella on the field if the stadium has a roof?
  10. Troopers better be careful with those ropes or they'll have PETA after them
  11. I really like Mandarins this year. Strong program performed well
  12. I guess they just extend the 2nd INT? Can't make the following corps go on earlier can they?
  13. INT is having a great show so far. One of their top 3 of the season.
  14. I couldn't care less if a show has a theme as long as it is entertaining and performed well.
  15. They are freakin' ridiculous. At semis in 2013 Cavaliers were first after the break. One of those idiots wouldn't let me in to go to my seat once the corps started to enter the field. They were still setting up, hadn't even been introduced yet but she wouldn't budge. I was livid.
