  1. Near perfect here other than a very few transient stutters.
  2. Gotta pick my jaw up off the ground and wipe the drool off my chin. This is gonna be a freaking amazing ending statement with what will no doubt be incredible drill.
  3. Forgive me if this was already suggested as a possible addition to new versions of this great app: How about a way to display all of the scores for a single corps in a single table to make it easier to see as the scores progress over the season ie - Cadets 6/17/15 - Score 6/19/15 - Score etc.
  4. Too bad the talking can't be digitally removed from the track . That was a heluva show hidden beneath all of the narration.
  5. Without getting into a political debate - it isn't just Fox News that is the problem. It's ALL of the so-called news media outlets on both sides of the aisle. News media used to be about - you know - reporting the news. Now it's all about generating controversy and ratings. Neither side allow the truth or the facts get in the way of a good story.
  6. I was wondering the same thing. I think it's because Bass 5 has a dedicated page.
  7. That's better than a bunch of Turncoats
  8. The Purple Heart is only awarded for injuries or death that are incurred during actions against an enemy of the United States. Of course it could be argued that the moron that threw the axe is an enemy of the US by nature of his sheer stupidity
  9. Can't remember the exact time off the top of my head - there is a short break mid-afternoon I think and then a long (about 50 minutes) dinner break that starts somewhere in the 5-6pm time frame. It's long enough that lots of people walk the White Castle a block or 2 from the stadium and be back in time for the step off of the next corps. There is another short break before the top-6 (I think) perform.
  10. Just wanted to say now that the season has started and there are scores being generated that I LOVE this app. I'm sure there are tweaks that can make it better, but not being a designer or heavy user of such things I have no suggestions. Great job guys and thanks!
  11. That would be the great Mark Thurston. Nobody wrote a drum book that grooved like he did. He was a blast to play for too.
  12. First half of the show was near flawless (except for the out of sync audio). After intermission was nearly unwatchable with signal dropouts, loss of HD stream, freezing etc. By the time BD came on I think I was able to watch only about 3 minutes of the show in between the freezes, skips etc.
  13. Dunno - never tried to have more than one computer logged on before
  14. Stinking DCI Live! will not let me be logged in on more than 1 computer at a time. I want to watch on my big screen in the basement through my laptop but leave it on upstairs too. Every time I log onto the 2nd location it logs me off the first. Bastages!
  15. My first thought was "wtf are they doing? Cadets did this in 2000 and did it wayyyyyyy better." Not a comparison that I think they really want to encourage. That tenor feature is pretty tame if you ask me. Looked to me like only 1 guy was playing at a time when they started flipping around.
  16. I'm not so sure that that was a misspeak. I think he meant to say it. Either way - I got a chuckle from the comment.
  17. Probably not bad. I've never had a problem. But to be fair - I booked months ago.
  18. I remember one spot in our show in '85 that we were having a terrible time getting the attack right, so Thurston had us start dut-dutting for that one spot. Don't remember who the judge was, but he eviscerated us for "using an audible cue that takes away all of the demand of the attack". My how times have changed.
  19. That may be the analogy of the century! How horrible is the Phil's outfield. Oh wait - they recalled Dom Brown (again). We're saved!! I've tried to defend dci's or and marketing but in this, going back to December they dropped more balls than the Phillies outfielders.
  20. For now: Theater Weds nite for season opener Chester, PA (LOVE PPL park for drum corps. Great sight lines and terrific acoustics. DCI East both nights Championships (all 3 nights) Haven't missed on since I was able to start going again in 1999. May try to sneak in some more of the PA/NJ shows along the way if my schedule can swing it
  21. Thanks for that. I sure hope it is just an effect of the recording, but that synth bottom end through much of it is horrendous.
  22. The cupcakes were the 1985 Spanish show (Man of LaMancha etc) and it wasn't the unis that kept us out of finals. We finished 17th that year which is second only to '86 (21st place tie) as the lowest finish ever - not counting '75 which was their first season as a corps after the merger. But considering all that happened between '85 and '86 off the field, just fielding a competitive corps in '86 was an accomplishment.
