SCV is not going to be higher than 5th with this show. It is just not clicking yet and is missing GE. Not really sure it's safe in 5th either, ouch.

BDB is strong in all captions and executing well tonight.

Gold was very good tonight. I love the program. Next up -Go Vanguard Cadets!

Attendance looks very low per the high cam stands shots.

Cadets are much improved tonight to me, but could just be a better audio feed.

Crossmen are much better than just a week ago. They had a very solid run tonight. I am not sure how I felt about their show order tonight but it worked nonetheless.

I also congrats BAC in your thread and have been nothing but respectful and complimentary to BD, Bloo, BAC fans so we are all good.

I'll start here. Since my life experience means so much to others ability to value my opinion. I fell in love with DCI the moment I was introduced to it in the mid 90's. I unfortunately did not get to March due to having to take care of my sick parent and working my way thru college earning an undergraduate and graduate degree with honors. I have always stayed close to the activity that I loved and help donate to a good friend of mine that got to march. I also have several band director friends and know judge adjucators in the activity. With that out of the way, I will continue to follow your lead and say whatever I please as long as the DCP guidelines allow it. I have donated to several corps, volunteered, and been at many finals and shows over the last 25 years with the activity and will continue to do so. Lastly, please rest assured that I will not stop calling out someome for being a hypocrite, including yourself. Since I never made any comments directly to you and someone else that you felt the need to speak up for, I will also gladly par take in that now that you feel so vindicated in speaking out. -Carry on!

I agree. For what its worth, I think they have locked up 6th unless Cavies has some major cleaning or re-writes taking effect soon.

My revised prediction for August 13th after seeing everyone this week on aunt Flo: 1. Crown (GE, Brass) 2. BD (Visual Proficiency) 3. Bloo (will only beat BAC by .2 when its all said and done) 4. BAC (Guard) 5. SCV (Drums) 6. Cadets 7. Cavies 8. Mandarins 9. Phantom 10. BlueStars 11. Crossmen 12. Blue Knights Now, I know many will not agree with this, but it is my objective prediction based on what I have seen and heard so far.

Even though I think Crown's guard has a hare slightly less content than BAC's, I think they have more overall effect both musically & visually. While watching BAC at times I feel like they have rifle tosses for the sake of rifle tosses without enhancing the musical/visual moment. Just my two cents. This reminds me of people saying Crown plays notes to play notes. I will add they BAC is still incredible though and I am not taking anything away from them.

I really like the Bloo wheels effect, as I think it creates two very cool moments. I think the show needs more added to the ballad as it leaves more to be desired. With ballad changes, I think this show could get third behind BD and Crown. In my mind SCV is not beating BAC and are a solid 5th already.

Bloo brass is having a couple of intonation issues with that trumpet line. Overall they look very clean visually and guard is stellar.

Great Job tonight BAC, from a Crown honk! I think BAC looks cleaner than any other top 6 corps on the field right now, btw.

I will still call this now, top two is Crown and BD. Bloo is growing on me though and could replace BD, IMO.
