Yea it's gonna be bittersweet. My wife packed the tissues lol. However, his drum corps performances will be coming to an end, but he will probably end up on a corps staff next summer. He wants to be a high school band director and a corps director. We won't be shocked if he ends up on staff at some OC corps next summer and beyond lol.

I agree with everything you said except for one small part........ "if Phantom had not set the crowd on fire in '08, BD might have grabbed that one." I don't think it had anything to do with the crowd. It had more to do with BDs drums picking the worst time to have a bad run by their standards, and getting knocked down to 5th finals night, which cracked the door for Phantom to walk thru. Phantom won fair and square, but if BDs drums took care of business, there is no door for Phantom to walk thru, regardless of what the crowd thought.

BDB wouldn't have made top 12, but I'll say this, after seeing them live in SoCal last month, I am sure quite a few WC corps were doing this after realizing BDB wasn't coming to Indy...................

I think Phantom is 6th based off scores. But also I didn't say Mandarins will pass anyone before i get attacked. I just said they are indeed gaining ground, which is a fact.

Based off Allentown and Canton scores, 6th place might want to check their rear view mirror. Sacramento is gaining ground fast.
