Did BD just release their show title on BD website?

BD are maxing out those score sheets with less than a week left of tour. What an incredible and entertaining show. Well thought out, designed to highlight every section, the music works so well, props done extremely well and the everyone is performing at a high standard. Kudos to the designers (for thinking up this show) and staff (for teaching and cleaning work). Congrats on a great year.

Shout out to Mandarins, especially PC for a great performance in Utah! BD had their dirtiest (drill and guard) show to date and still earned a 87 hmmmmm! The closer needs attention ASAP!!! Lots to clean and make pop! Show is still coming in HOT!!!!!

BD presented a master class in the use of color, movement and elevating the art of performance. 2023 BD is gunning for top percussion and colorguard and GE captions and the show is designed to showcase those section. I can only imagine how the show will develop, last night score of 84 was too low for what was presented on the field. Blue Devils coming in HOT!!!!

Mandarins show is really coming along, what a great performance tonight! Blue Devils continue to dominate all captions (watch the spread of Content and Achievement to get smaller as the season progresses). Color guard needs to clean, clean and clean some more. Already in the 80s after three shows - at this rate, the judges will need to give BD a score of 106 by finals night! 😉

My take of tonight's Vista show World Class: The Academy - not your typical Academy show, has potential and will be a good vehicle for them this year. Pacific Crest - one of the stronger PC corps, can move up the ranks from previous years. Mandarins - JUST WOW! This show has so much potential. My concern are the moving props - I hope no one falls off or gets hit (will cause major damage if that happens). Great musical selections, the costumes work and they just need to clean, clean and clean some more. Blue Devils - YIKES-in a good way! Strong brass, percussion and guard! Execution is not a problem but content might be as the season progresses. Henry Matisse inspired show with so many props and color on the field, to me translated to Bikini Bottom, a SpongeBob visually inspired palette. Highlight musically is Both Side Now, but if anyone can clean and make a masterpiece out of anything it's the Blue Devils. They need to edit, clean, edit, clean, edit, clean and edit some more.

The ghost of SCV hanged high today in Vista. It felt good to have drum corp back but something was missing and that was SCV!

What a great season! Congratulations Blue Devils tonight, the design and execution is phenomenal!

Boston Crusaders - great show concept and musical selections! That drumline 🔥! So much contras musical! Love the props and use of color! Great staging and using that black uniform to showcase the snake 👏🏼! The finesse of those transitions WOW 😮 That color guard 😮 that closer!!!!!! Bravo 👏🏼 Amazing performance tonight!!!!!

Bluecoats - LOVE the show and use of color! Using every crayon color in the box! Love the drill and musical selections! Amp and mic 🎤 problems tonight! 🫤 Tons of layering and multiple focus! Santa Clara Vanguard - interesting show concept, strong first impact YIKES!!! Love the staging and drill throughout the show! Percussion is on fire 🔥🔥🔥 tonight! Not a lot of color, but palette 🎨 works for the guard and the show concept. Love that closer!!!! bravo 👏🏼 The last set is AMAZING!!!!!!!

The Cadets - great vehicle for them! Strong drill and execution today’ Color guard, brass and percussion working on all cylinders!! Some strong staging moments and transitions! Musical selections helped to unify the show concept, much cleaner execution of closer!!!!! WOW!!!! Bravo 👏🏼 Dig the show with good drill! Classic but fresh!

Blue Stars - interesting show concept, love the corp proper uniform and use of color! Strong musical selections, brass WOW, well execution today! Love the staging and props, shout out to the visual staff and design team! Well thought out and great performance tonight! Bravo 👏🏼

Cavaliers - great show concept and musical selections! Trombone feature was spot on. Tons of visual moments and staging! Loved the use of color and that corp uniform! They performed on point tonight! Loved the musical layering and nuance! WOW!!! Bravo Cavaliers!!!

Mandarins - props galore, strong guard! Great show idea and musical selections! Strong staging and visual moments! Wow! Amazing performance tonight! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Bravo!

Phantom Regiment - strong musical selections, loved the visual elements and staging! Had some strong moments and impacts! White and red contrast -very effective! Love the ballad! Strong execution today Closer was on fire 🔥! Awesome performance! Loved it! Bravo!

Crossmen - impressive drill and visual moments and strong musical selections! Loved the color selections in flags, color guard uniform and corp proper uniform! Brass soloists where screaming todayl! Loved it! Baritone trio what happen? Overall a great production from them, lots of ebb and flow and circular ideas! Good job BONES!!

Colts - good visual and musical vehicle for them this year! Loved the musical selections! Had some great visual moments and great staging but I needed more at the end (closer could of been more intense)! But they told a story and executed that until the end! Bravo!

BK - no unifying theme in my opinion, musical ideas all over the place but they had some moments, good visual concepts / execution had some problems but I did like the color and the development of the guard - purple rifles / lost in the visual execution which did not help! Good staging moments!

Nope, not going to happen. Blue Devils are quite strong in the GE and Visual caption area this year. Will it be a clean sweep? I don't think so, but they have THE best show (and are performing at a high level). Probably one of the better designed and thought out shows this year. They have a vision, with music, design and really perform to the score sheets, to earn top high marks. Awesome job Blue Devils!!!

By not dropping rifle tosses that are exposed. Just my 2 cents!

Interesting that Boston Crusaders wins Guard, Percussion, Visual and Music. Blue Devils wins GE and Carolina Crown wins Brass. Oh to be a fly on the wall in those drum corp after meetings with staff.

Congratulations Blue Devils - Music caption alone (spread) will win them the championship this year. Shout out to SCV for another great percussion section and Boston Crusaders for surpassing Carolina Crown and winning Guard. It's going to be a great summer!!! Just my 2 cents!
