  1. Without a doubt, and not even worried about being a honk, Down Side Up. I watched this show come together from the start of ST and knew I was witnessing something special. I still show DSU as my favorite of all time to my friends and family. 😉
  2. Yes, but someone else’s house ... in a different city ... but I would be happy to pick up his tab!
  3. I wouldn’t want to begin to guess. This team is way more imaginative and creative than I ever hope to be. I will give the same advise to them as I did last year ... don’t listen to me ... just do you!
  4. I went with Kinetic Noise but easily could have switched to Session 44. What Kinetic Noise created with that soundscape was simply amazing. This was definitely a show you had to experience live to appreciate fully.
  5. I am as big of a Bloo honk as there is, but I am content with how the placements shook out. BD had a great show and I believe that Bloo being as solid as they were may have pushed BD to even greater heights than if Bloo wasn’t banging on their door, er, wall. How about a rematch in 2020?
  6. And a great way for an insider to become an outsider is to spew their supposed insider information.
  7. Les Miz for me. That mello solo. The flag tosses from behind the props. The drill. It all worked for me.
  8. From my understanding, Bloo had 56 age outs: 40 brass/percussion, 15 guard, and Peyton.
  9. I honked with Bluecoats 2013 as well. It was a show that just hinted at what was to come. Also, as much as I loved Jagged Line, the ballad never quite worked as planned.
  10. I chose Wicked Games. This was the show that propelled Boston into the top six, and is still my favorite BAC show of the the revitalized era.
  11. Khaki shirt ... khaki pants ... accessories. I loved 27th uniforms from back in the day.
  12. No flames from me. I’m kind of a march and let march kind of guy. I like all styles of movement.
  13. The only change I would make is move No. 8, “As Dreams Are Made On” to No. 6, displacing “Through A Glass Darkly” to No. 7. But really, a great decade of shows!
  14. I tend to agree. I still think the visual program needs the most work and wish Will Pitts would stick to arranging and relinquish his show coordinating duties, though I don’t have a good candidate for that position.
  15. That One Second for me as well. I always lost it when the corps flipped the scrim with the horn arc on it.
