Yea that's the one downside to your team being good. Ticket prices soar. 2015-2018 when the Niners were sucking, me, wifey, son and daughter could all go to the game and I would spend less than $200 on the tickets total. Since 2019, Niners have been Super Bowl contenders, ticket prices are outrageous! My wallet was sending out distress signals lol.
And God help you if you're thinking about buying food at Levi's Stadium. One time, I got four pretzels, and four bottled waters for us, they wanted me to harvest my organs to pay for it. The prices there are insane.
I hear you, brother. Getting Lions tickets was a cheap deal until last year … you could get them for a song … the prices have really shot through the roof (er, dome) since. I might be able to go to one game next year.

Yep. It’s expensive. That’s why we’re not going to an Ohio State game. It would be $1000 just for tickets. I don’t even think I could enjoy myself. Hahaha. I told him go to go up the road to Putters and watch with the rest of the fanatics.
I’m fortunate enough to have a relative with season tickets for Michigan football. I get to see a couple of live games a year for virtually nothing but beer money

1965 Royal Airs. In fact, the whole show at McCormick Place. I about wore out my bootleg cassette tape when I was a kid.
I was thinking the same thing

Glad too see Surf sticking with the fun and audience friendly shows.
Love it, and I own three Peter Max’s! Can’t wait!

I’ll be blunt:
Memphis Cadets or
Cadets of Memphis or
Cadets of Shelby County
is the dumbest thing I’ve heard this year … so far.

yet a beloved icon in Scouts history was director for part of this time...actually 2 were. so is it just the current administration or because they can't figure out how to be good without Malagaguena version 999,129,456,987,234?
Still like Muchachos version the best.

Is there anyone else watching any Cavies shows during the Superbowl halftime?
Lolololol … I’m guessing it’s all you, buddy

I’m rooting for a magical moment like this from the Cavaliers in 2024.
That garnered a spontaneous standing O. I was standing, clapping, nodding my head before I realized it. It took me a minute before I realized it was in the middle of the show.

For singers, just for the heck of it, I'd ask DCP'ers here to listen to Boston's 2015 singer at the 7:10 clip of the practice clip.... then... fast forward to 10:37 mark to the end. I think she was the best and most talented singer soloist we've heard in Drum Corps ( just my opinion )
I was always upset she was cut from the BluRays.

It’s not like that anymore. They follow staff people around. I saw my kid do it twice. He followed one drum staff around.
I felt he was limiting himself but it was his choice.
I’m quite sure that if I had a few more years to march, I would have followed Zingali to Garfield.

It's all love brother. I will keep it 💯, me and my son was nervous at halftime lol. But Purdy put the team on his back and carried us in the second half.
For real though, Detroit is legit. Us Niners fans have crazy respect for them. Lions are a young team. They will be a threat for years to come.
Brock Purdy … from Mr. Irrelevant to the Super Bowl … I have mad respect for him.

My cousins are Lions fans. I told them, "I feel for you, after all its only once every 20 years or so you get to have hope."
It's somewhat tempered by the fact that they're also U of M alums and went to both games.30 years or so, but why quibble?
With UM taking the college nats and Lions winning not one, but two playoff games, this has been the best year of football in Michigan during my lifetime!

Yah. I've been listening to the 2023 season again as my brain wants drum corps again. This show is so musically well designed. And while I get the eyebrows at the visual design choices, they performed the snot out of it and it was bold and consistent. The score stalling puzzles me still too
Well, after three absinthe’s, everything stalls for me

I am around. But right now, the focus is on my beloved 49ers getting this sixth Super Ring next Sunday!
I will turn my attention to BD/Mandarins after February 11th.
Bang Bang Niner Gang!
In Brock Purdy we trust!
Well, you did it to me again, first BD beats Bloo then 49ers beat my Lions.
All this, and I still count you as a friend.
