  1. Hey there, How do we learn more? Thanks,
  2. This doesn't affect me much, so I'm good with it. What I have written DCI about recently though is the unacceptable situation at the vending area during the breaks. I've been going to SA for the SW Champs for 10 years and have never seen all the corps perform because the crowding is so bad and the vending understaffed. I wish they would fix this. Still no response from DCI.

  4. I saw the show in San Antonio this weekend. This was my absolute favorite show of the entire evening. I loved everything about it. Nice job Academy!
  5. Update July 22, 2016 2pm ********************S O L D********************* Price - $140 for the 2 (below face value) I'm not sure if I can transfer tickets via Ticketmaster, but I can surely meet you before the show outside the stadium. I'm open to other ideas for transfer. Section 112 Row 18 Seats 11 & 12 Omar
  6. DCI certainly has LGBTQ individuals participating in its groups and organization. Why wouldn't they protect the individuals who are actively contributing to DCI's success. It seems only fair that DCI would stand by their side in the same way that Coca-Cola and Citigroup stand by the LGBTQ employees who contribute to their success. I know these aren't nearly the same organizations, but some have suggested that DCI stand by and refrain from political and social action, etc. I for one would be disappointed if DCI didn't at least express their opposition to the new law in an official manner. Standing by and watching is a terrible idea. I would like to see them continue on with their already-scheduled shows/activities in those states that have enacted anti-LGBTQ laws, but also seriously reconsider future scheduling in those states. 7. Oh, ok. I didn't realize the benefit extended to regionals, etc. Thanks for the explanation.
  8. So, I was waiting on TicketMaster for the tickets to go on sale, and as soon as I could I accessed the map which had only tickets available in the first 18 rows. All the seats on the 50 yard line in rows 19-30 were already grayed-out and unavailable. Is this because the corps block seating ticket allotments? I purchased through the Cadets support website and their allotment is on the 35 yard line. Just trying to figure this out to get higher up on the 50 yard line for next year. Anybody have any insight?
  9. Crossmen don't have 50yl tickets on their site. Did they have them at one point?
  10. I'm guessing The Cadets have sold their allotment of tickets for the show, so they took it down. He said that we had until April 1 to purchase. Phantom Regiment has theirs on sale still, so you're in luck. Here's the link. These seats are on about the 35, so they're not on the 50, but they're excellent still. They're also up pretty high too. Ok, good luck. https://shop.regiment.org/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SATTIX1
  11. Not sure if this helps, but Cadets told me that they would be selling their block tickets up until the end of March, so maybe soon thereafter. I really don't know for sure as they have moved this date around significantly from year to year. Last year, I bought my tickets in November. The year before that, they weren't available until February. No rhyme or reason, so who really knows?
  12. This was my first go at the live broadcast. I was expecting the same product that had been offered in years past through the FanNetwork. It was interesting that there was no clearly defined indication about what the product was or when it was to be offered. Information changed day to day, especially the two weeks before the kickoff. I don't feel that it was 720p based on my stream, even though it said it was the highest quality. There's no way to verify this though. I only had 3 or 4 glitches throughout, but I only watched probably 50% of the shows offered. The glitches were really minor and didn't require any kind of computer interference. The sound was variable, with Allentown providing the least favorable transmission. don't know why though. Still it was decent. Somebody mentioned the commercials that are played immediately after login. That was terrible. There's a way to add-on to your browser to eliminate these, but I never did it so I don't know how. Google that %$%# if y'anto... I still don't know if I'll sign up for next year, because of the having to be there at the time of performances. I couldn't be there for so many and I might not next year either. That would be the main factor for me.
  13. Hello DCP! It's been interesting reading through the forums and gaining insight into shows and design among other things. Really enjoying this. I have been attending the DCI SW Champs in SA for 10+ years. I have always wished that I could somehow become familiar with a show before I went to SA. I have never purchased a DCI Live (fannetwork) package until this year. Makes a big difference! My next goal is to join a Friends of DCI group so I can go to my first Finals. I'm kinda spoiled though, as I do love sitting in the good seats. Does anybody know of such a group I could join so I could get some tickets? Any help is greatly appreciated. So glad to be here... :-) Omar
