I can’t watch because I’m at work but from what I d gathered this announcer sounds like he’s talking like Snape when he thinks Harry is...up to something -

In spite of some sickness (tour plague hits every corps from time to time, see Cavaliers 2015) I’ve heard that their “second move ins” session was incredibly productive! I’m excited to see how they do tonight! -

RIP to all the front ensembles and prop crews who get to deal with that hill tonight. -

Perhaps. I have full confidence in this new staff to make the choices that are right for this hornline. I’ve been encouraged by what I’ve seen so far. Starting big and shaping is a technique I’ve used often as a tech, but with a group with as young of membership as Pio has this year, solid fundamentals need to come first. Of course, I can only guess at the inner workings of this year’s staff. Regardless, I’m encouraged and excited for this show. -

It seems like this is a purposeful choice by the brass staff. It’s not loud...yet, but fundamentally there’s a lot of good things going on. I think they’re playing the long game. Perhaps a little underwhelming at the moment, but they’ll reap the rewards come late July. -

I see Pioneer is showing up a little late to the 2016 San Antonio Regional this year. Better Every Day Pio! -
San Antonio Question - Why no Pioneer?
cmkapteyn replied to IllianaLancerContra's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Transportation issues and a rigorous performance schedule in the week between SA and ATL last year cut severely into rehearsal time in 2015. This year, to combat that, they're making time. The rehearsal site situation was right, so they planned in the offseason to stay put. I'm hearing a lot of good things about changes and cleaning being done. Expect a great showing by Atlanta! -
Holes to fill?

Im pretty sure they edited the drill to close holes recently. It's still worth contacting the corps though! :) -

Has anybody else experienced this?
cmkapteyn replied to BassClefTristan's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
I first discovered DCI in summer of 2009 (with a video of Crossmen's 1998 opener). Since then, my ideal corps to march for changed about every week. From the Cavaliers to the Glassmen, SCV, etc. It wasn't until the summer of 2015 that I took the last minute plunge and took the opportunity to rook-out with Pioneer. I wouldn't change a darn thing. -
Happy to hear Pio had a great show! Makes this 2015 alumni proud! Better Every Day!
