I said earlier this week that this was going to be a hard week. I know of one other super sad thing happening, but that might be another week or so. folks at Cadets (at least a few) knew this was going to happen for at least a week. it’s very sad.

Chris Williams, Corps Director for Academy, is out. After a month. hmmmmmm

In September, The Academy announced that Chris Williams was selected as the new Corps Director. After the announcement, there were a few rumblings about his past, including some problematic behavior. now it appears he is gone? (Removed outdated info from this post, which included a link to a 2022 announcement).

Agreed. The only people who state this are Blue Stars folks. im not saying it isn’t true, but I haven’t seen one data point to support it.

I haven’t been to Finals as a spectator since the Rose Bowl in 2007!! Made a last minute impulsive decision and will be going to Finals tonight. Please share any and all tips! I have my ticket but don’t anything about the logistics or timing.

My initial thoughts: Crown should have scored higher. BD jump seems a little too high and should be closer the 2-4. (They are so good!). Mandarins should be ahead of Cadets. HELL YES COLTS Blue Stars - Dang, I don’t know if anyone saw them in 11th going into finals. I don’t know if I see them going up tomorrow. AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE TOP 12

performing after that show has to be a little intimidating. AMAZING JOB MANDARINS! Beat of luck Cadets!!! this might be one of the best drum corps shows I have ever seen. I know scores are far off, but I have to think there is going to be some movement tonight. wow
