Rich, nice work. This should be an independent thread or topic. It is right on and accurate. It can be the basis of "going forward". The decision to go coed is decided. Now we face the future. I'm not sure anyone things or thought that going coed will solve all of the problems of the MS. And the decision was not proclaimed in that manner, rather as "the right thing to do" if we really want to be inclusive. I disagree with you that going coed was not appropriate. But everything you say about how MS needs to go forward is right on. Thanks for such a great summary.

They would need to score MUCH higher than the Bluecoats. Something like 5.613 points higher than SVC. (maybe this isn't correct, but close).

This is one of the problems with Allentown. No one really knows. Officially, it is the same show, with the same judges, and is treated that way in the calculations for placement on Thursday. But, what if one of the judges has an off night on Friday or Saturday? We can only hope for the best. Maybe it is time for a real same day third regional.

Who are the judges?

Right now, they must either Score 2.150 more than Colts; OR they must score more than 2.938 more than Academy in Allentown to make the Big Loud Live show. They may pass them on any show by outscoring either Colts or Academy. Right up to and including Semi-Finals. How likely is that? No one can say. It depends on how fast PC improves relative to Colts/Academy. All three have excellent shows and the competition is only one thing to focus on. They are all presenting shows that the audience likes, and all of the MMs are having the time of their lives performing to the best of their ability. Enjoy them all. And rejoice with their performances.
