  1. With the way it is posted in this thread you or I and folks reading the thread would think so right? But I don't think they are connected. Maybe Cheer used some of Varsity products but from what I can see Varsity is not a part of the Cheer tv show. In my opinion It is disappointing in the way the info is posted here and not explained. Cheer was also on netflix correct? Netflix has no responsibility to its customers I guess. Bolded part is incorrect and it does seem that Cheer is in control of the two federations of cheerleading that Harris was working for.
  2. Yes. I see where many think there is nothing wrong with that type of show and behavior. I just happen to believe it is a magnet for creeps. Same with gymnastics, cheerleading, dance. I tried super hard to make sure I did not leave my daughter in a position for those things to happen. I'm still working hard at it and staying vigilant like a good parent should. It appears that these cheerleading organizations are bad or worse than the gymnastics groups.
  3. Yeah in society these people who abuse the children etc are everywhere in every job. Really I'm not making that up. And all types of internet activities feed that behavior.
  4. Very true - every part of our society is infected by that. Video streaming services these days serve up shows a lacarte for the perv's. With the interweb it feeds those types of predators.
  5. I'm not sure on the percentages of the accurate information expressed in the podcast. Maybe you are going to high on that guesstimate. Yes I mentioned the A.F. before and how it ruins credibility in my opinion and it also lets us know as a clue on where things will be going. The only reason I ventured to listen is because it was presented here as a source of information on the topic.
  6. Also stated in that mini episode something like "state the facts and let the fan's decide" but then eventually they try to break down what the conflicts are. I can't remember the exact wording and I don't want to listen to childish trash talk. Certitude is not only disturbing but it is a huge turn off. But I don't even enjoy the delivery of the speculative banter.
  7. 🤔🥵😓🤮 You still sick? Thoughts and prayers.
  8. Its really hard to listen to this mini episode and realize its "bias" pure bias. Maybe they should stick to doing collaborative research on the best ballads in the past 40 years and or how nobody pays any attention to things like DCA.
  9. Looks like Bobby Boucher jr. and Forest Gump got over on all of the "experts".
  10. Hey someone was saddened by your post (no idea why). Yes the Majorettes for Alabama are as famous a group as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Will be interesting to see what bands like Southern University's Human Juke Box do this year for the Mardi Gras and Green Day st. patricks day parades. Those are always big events for them and they are fun to be around.
  11. More from those unbelievable capitalist. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/12/astrazeneca-coronavirus-vaccine-clinical-trials-resume-in-uk-after-pause-over-safety-concerns.html
  12. I've given a couple of times already to "my corps" But I have also given to DCI. The only thing else I have participated that might help support the tour was a discussion with a few band directors and them using their schools as housing location when there is a tour again. They all have been used in the past and have tentative agreement with their schools (all the same district). If needed I'm willing to do whatever to help that along.
  13. Sorry but the conversation you described I thought was another personal encounter at a shop etc. Then when you mentioned the profile info I realized it was from an interweb interaction. No reason to get sensitive with your worries.
  14. I had plans to attend the track and field along with the marathon event this past summer. I will be going next summer so I hope to attend those events. Right now the only way for someone other than DOD personnel to get into Japan is with "exceptional circumstances". The latest from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the travel restrictions and ban's will be revised prior to or just after the New Year.
  15. When I was reading your reply I did not realize it was not real life until I got the part of your post regarding profiles. Social media can be a rough playhouse. When people get into questioning someone else faith or beliefs its not going to be a very good conversation. After all even Christian's commit sin's. Hey I'm not sure either the "Ying's" or the "Yang's" have anything to do with your worries about people doing neither distancing or wearing masks. In today's safety pin coronabro world that phrase might not work.
  16. That is great news. Japan has been back to school for more than 5 months now, seems to be working out for them.
  17. During flu season's in the past school in the USA have had to close in the past. About the masks - If it is outdoors and you distance from someone that is not as bad as indoors. I'm not sure these state mask mandates are enforceable for masks. Obviously there is a double standard or hypocrisy when it comes to masks. These non mask wearing types have the right to not wear a mask, even with the political over reach of a mask mandate. Once they get this vaccine started up things will get much better. Everyone should take the vaccine when it becomes available for them. I wonder how the Chinese vaccine is working in Peru? I believe Johnson & Johnson start up their vaccine in Peru this month sometime.
  18. Drove by a very large High School on Friday. Band was out practicing on the parking lot. On my way to the post office yesterday I passed the Soccer fields at the YMCA. PACKED absolutely packed with teams playing games. No more shutdowns should help things move along with treatments and vaccines we will make more progress.
  19. St. John's Newfoundland. I meant it as a joke because you was talking about people working at target, did not mean it the way you took it. Signal Hill is the location where they received the first distress signal from the titanic. Very interesting place. I worked about 315 kilometres east of there in the Jeanne D'Arc Basin, our down time was spent in and around Newfoundland. Left there on my way back to Merikah and decided to drive the "summer" (temps in the 40's) up through Newfoundland and into Labrador (muskrat - Churchill falls) then back into Quebec ending at Quebec City. It took 2 weeks and was an adventure. There were no marching arts in Newfoundland though, was a bummer. I just thought you might know of the place being from Canada. another joke so don't snap - You do all your cloths shopping at Roots or is the new thing Joe Fresh now?
  20. Confident you can find where that might be. Geographically it’s in your country so that might narrow it down, or are you like almost all Canadians they don’t care about that province?
  21. Yeah Sadly many are not working these days. Yours was retirement or forced retirement?
