I haven't seen them at all this year, but can say they are THE best BAC ever based off my my completely objective innate sense of things!

So I'll pick one in my more recent memory that's probably was never talked about in the fandom: "To the Moon" 2016 BDB. I personally think that was the best OC show ever performed, and was the highest OC scored show up until this year that 2022 VC squeaked out a score just a hair above it.

The longer you spend at sea in one, the bigger it starts to seem inside. After you spend time ashore for a while and then go back, it feels like it shrank again.

Golden Shellback here also. My Uncle was a Horned Shellback, and bragged all the time. He always talked about how he was allowed to "spit into the wind". 😆

I assume you are just referring to moving from another WC Corps to BD? As opposed to moving from an OC to BD, which I think is perfectly normal and expected. Somebody has to teach the younger and less experienced folks. Corps where you audition not to compete for a place in the Corps, but to establish your baseline experience so you can best be taught. I think it's great that I've seen dozens of veterans from our little OC Corps move into Top 12 WC Corps, including BD during their later years. Do we miss the fact that our most talented often move on...well sure. But I'd like to think that when we see the excellence of BD and other Top WC organizations that we actually had a hand in preparing them for that.

I'm just taking a stab at it, it shows the expulsion from the garden. The taking away of the purple cloth is taking away their dominion over creation originally given to them by God. The red cloth covering them is blood...meaning death now has dominion over them.

How do you find out why a penalty is assessed? Is there somewhere publicly accessible where you can see, or do you have to find out via the grapevine? ...or is asking this like touching the third rail? 😉

Sure wish I could be there again. I'll never forget 2016 prelims where I saw every Corps in one day from Les Stentors to Bluecoats. I only missed one show that day and it was Colts..."Team Red" because I had eaten something questionable and had "Team Runs" when they were on.

Huh, I didn't know they were doing that. I assumed the top 15 would be blacked out on Flo like past years.
