DrumScorps shows it. DCI schedule doesn't. I heard it was cancelled...I know 7th Regiment isn't going there.

Look at Guardians go, they just jumped into the upper realms with a 65.850.

I don't have a lot of experience, but I think I can answer this: 1. Impossible in "today's DCI" - since now the winners are chosen by judges beforehand according to political interests. 2. "Today's DCI" began some years ago when my favorite corps didn't place where I thought they should have placed. 3. As a caveat - Sometimes (i.e. when my favorite corps does well), "today's DCI" is put aside in favor of a merit based judging system.

You never know, maybe it'll only take a few more pages of this thread to get Madison into finals.

It's am uphill climb to beat the Blue Coat's, The Bluedevil's, and The Vanguard's.

This is true, I did research on this. I've found that my favorite corps wins through hard work, determination, and excellent performance. When they don't win...I looked into it and discovered that 100% of the time it's all about politics.

I think everybody's had a premiere. The middle of the pack is really crowded with close contests and too many variables to judge how things will pan out. Looks like an interesting matchup right now between LA Stars, Guardians, and Southwind currently. That's what's on second tonight, and I don't know what's going to happen.

They sure made a statement breaking 60 that early in July. It's been a week since then and we don't see them again for another week and a half, same with 7th Regiment. Both will undoubtedly build up their shows and be way more polished by then.

Maybe he can periscope a trumpet cam tonight. Lol

I believe Brett Kavanaugh is a staunch supporter of rifles in Drum Corps being protected by the 2nd amendment, so it's a moot point.

That's when it's really imperative to have a good seat cushion.

Looks like Legends, The Battalian, and Columbians get on the board tonight with their first shows of the season. Kind of interested to see what kind of score Legends puts up relative to Spartans. Maybe Spartans will beat them out for a medal at Championships this year. Of course I don't know where some of the other ones are going to fall yet either this year like Louisiana Stars, Guardians, and Southwind. It sounds like Gold has gone up a notch too, competition for the top 6 may be intense. Just random thoughts, not much insight.

Interesting. I wish all of them would go to Michigan City at the same time. I've been there twice but I haven't seen over a third of the open class. Shadow makes their debut tonight. Raiders have their second perfomance.
