  1. Sigh. Geez, am I sorry I ever said anything. I won’t make that mistake again. This is harder to get rid of than a bad rash.
  2. I just saw it on amazon. Maybe I’ll check it out. This thread is as dead as a door nail.
  3. Jim is on his way to LA for business. Maybe there will be someone periscoping tonight. If not, a chick flick on amazon.
  4. This young person endured some major bullying. It breaks my heart to read this: https://www.reddit.com/r/drumcorps/comments/91j23w/i_didnt_enjoy_my_time_at_my_corps_and_i_dont_know/?st=JK04QX8Q&sh=f033c553
  5. I don’t believe there is any “good natured” antisemitism. They may not realize it but that kind of crudeness cuts people to the bone. It would wear on me very quickly. I would simmer quietly for awhile and then the pot would boil over. And nobody wants that.
  6. I’ve never heard about that. I wonder if it was for a similar reason?
  7. Yes. It has to be someone who is absolutely independent and they are comfortable with sharing. This is very tough for young people. They feel isolated and alone. Even not so young people experience this feeling of isolation. Someone needs to be their voice. .
  8. It’s alternately sickening and infuriating to read what happened to this young person. There needs to be an independent member advocate who isn’t beholden to anyone. Someone whose only interest is the safety and welfare of the members.
  9. And when they turned backfield, they played even louder!
  10. What a cluster. Just remember to fill out that survey DCI sends.
  11. Oh the old stickers on the seats thing....they did that at Mason. They alloted enough room per seat for a very slim 12 year old.
  12. I wonder if Lake Highlands would have been the better option after all.
  13. It’s not often that your kid marches at the same high school in the 2000’s that you marched in the ‘70’s.
